I was told these strings would give a better tone to my cello, and I am not disappointed…loving it. Makes me proud to play my instrument, been playing it more than usual.

I love the Jargar D on my cello, but this one broke soon after I strung it up, so I couldn’t give it more than “it’s ok”. I was turning the peg when it happened. Such is life. You have to love it even when it is just ok.

High quality construction. Warm sound. Not overly bright. I would recommend this string though I am still a beginning cellist.

Jargar A & D medium are the strings I have used for sooooo long. (I am 70 and have used this brand since the 1960s). The light and the heavy don’t play the same for me: the light sound thin to me and the heavy sound a bit harsh, but like Goldielocks says, these are just right for me.
