I have two parakeets whom love this. It attaches to one of the doors on the cage. Stable. Mine is red and clear. Super easy to use. Very durable. I have had this for months and it still looks brand new. Great product. Highly recommend

Updated review: I’ve changed my mind about this bird bath after using it. I actually love it. I initially felt it was too big, but I have gotten used to the size and do leave it on the cage as a water dish and bath. It’s also gotten easier to put on and off the cage after some practice. My bird loves it too!!
Original review: I don’t really love or hate this bird bath. I was initially hoping to be able to leave it on the cage most of the time and take it off for cleaning, etc. I will keep it as my bird seems to like it okay… It’s just not as convenient as what I had in mind.
Pros:
-the cover prevents splashing
-fairly durable and easy enough to put together
-large enough for my budgie (and probably a slightly larger bird) to fit inside
-my bird likes it
Cons:
-larger than I expected and it prevents the main door from opening/closing easily
-I thought the top would slid off easily to refill water, but you basically have to take the whole thing apart for refilling and cleaning
-very little instructions and took a bit of figuring out

Great bird bath, my parakeets love it.

I like it, fits well in the opening, holds water without leaks. I like that it has a lip/step that goes over the cage bar along the bottom. The only thing is I haven’t seen my birds use it yet, and it’s probably been there for about a month.
Haven’t given up yet, so hopefully they will use it one day.

Molto pratico nell’istallarlo e rimuoverlo, esteticamente carino. I miei canarini ci fanno il bagnetto molto volentieri. Ottimo acquisto.

First if all, it looks like the picture. Mine was red, but I do believe that the colors may vary. You have to be careful not to tip the thing when you move the bath for filling or cleaning, but I haven’t had it leak.
I would advise you measure the door where you plan to install the bath. I did not, and I barely managed to get it in (I had to tilt it sideways because the side doors on the cage are smaller than many other cage doors). Both the latch and the cage attachment thing are, like every other part of the bath, made of plastic, and if anything fails or breaks on this thing, I expect it might be on these two parts. They slide around so you can adjust how you attach the bath, and make sure that the latch does hold up the cage door.
The bath is suitable for budgerigars (parakeets), and any bird about that size or a little smaller like canaries, lovebirds, bourke’s parakeets, caiques, etc. Several finch could fit in it, but you want to make sure you don’t make the water too deep. It would be a bit cramped for a cockatiel to splash around in.
My budgies, as far as I can tell, haven’t use it at all. I’m not sure if they even came near it to check it out. Their desire to bath seems rather sporadic. I found both of them trying to cram themselves (at the same time) into their tiny water dish. I found a shallow bowl (meant for a dog or cat dish) and they will drink out it more than bathe in it. They also like to throw stuff into their water, like their pellets or bits of chew toys.
I tried to set the bath inside the cage on the bottom and they ignored it. Also took off the dome in case that scared them. Still no interest. They don’t seem to be afraid of it, just disinterested. I put it back in one of the cage side doors. Sometimes they take to a new toy or object right away, and other times it takes several days or even weeks. I might install something, and if they don’t take an interest after a couple of weeks, I’ll take it out and then try again after another waiting period, and then they suddenly decide it is their favorite thing (next to the swing they fight over).
Since it was fairly cheap, I see no reason to send this back. I’ll just keep trying. They do need to bathe. They got berry juice all over their faces the other day, and scared me to death thinking they were injured and bleeding! They do NOT like being spritzed with a spray bottle.
Update: No need to change rating because there isn’t anything wrong with the product other than my budgies hate it and never went near it. Took it out of the cage altogether and set it aside for now. No need to send it back since I may give it another try a few months from now, and the bathtub is sturdier than I first thought.

I will say, our bird does not like this bath. BUT, there are a lot of good things about this bath that for the right bird, it would probably be great! It was easy to assemble and place on the cage, easy to clean and is super sturdy. Our bird has only been in it once (with a lot of coaxing) but we were not worried about it falling or the sturdiness of it while attached to the cage.

At first I was skeptical making this purchase because some of the reviews were not all that great. But this little bird bath is perfect for birds that are too clever for their own good. My Quakers tried and tried to take it apart and unhook it from the door but they were not able to. It really fits securely. As soon as I placed the bath on their cage they went ahead and used it. It’s really well made. And it’s easy to clip onto the cage it does hold the door up there are instructions in the box that are really easy to follow. used it.

This bath is a great idea. However there are some design flaws. It takes a lot of force/pressure to get the attachment mechanism secure on the cage
However, before the bath is attached to the cage it is supposed to be filled with water and has a super small lip that is made to slide into a small receiving encasement. But these two don’t fit sunggley and hold together. So you have to keep holding them together while you hang the base onto the birdcage door and then support the both while trying to put the attachment clip through the bars of the cage and turn it so it will lock in place. Even once all that is done it seems pretty easy to separate the two parts with an accidental bump. This far my parakeets have not gone into the bath. I tried it without the top on (which is significantly easiery to hang on the cage but less secure) and they will walk around the edges but won’t go in the water. That is the fault of my birds and not the bath, they are very timid and extra skittish. But all the noise and difficulty of attaching the bath doesn’t help to encourage them to enter. And it really bothers me that the top is so ill fitted to the base.

She has recently passed but in life she really liked this. Not so much getting in the water but just looking at the water. My lovebirds on the other hand love getting wet in this lol
