I bought this after reading the ingredients. It sounds like it is a very healthy food. At first my parakeet didn’t want to eat it and only ate his other food which was your typical seed. I kept the seed out of his cage for a couple of days and of course he ate this. I now mix his food with roughly two parts of this bird food and one part seed. He eats it all. Well, almost all. He doesn’t seem to like the yellow ones and throws them out of the dish and often out of the cage but otherwise he seems to thoroughly enjoy this food and I like that it seems to be quite nutritious.

I mix seeds and pellets for my 6 parakeets and 2 doves. The parakeets are picky eaters and normally eat just the seeds and wouldn’t touch the pellets of other brands, but they loved it! The doves loved it too, though they’re less picky. They eat all of the pellets first before even thinking about the seeds. Great price too!

I have two peach faced lovebirds. One is 2 years old and the other is 4. I couldn’t find any suitable pellets for lovebirds in my country (Colombia). So I ordered this product through Amazon. I generally offer them treats with my fingers (sunflower seeds, oatmeal) and the first day they would lick the pellets and would not bite them. Over the course of five days they’ve begun to accept the pellets as treats and they are eating the ones I leave in their bowl. I’m placing pellets and seeds in their bowl in equal proportions. The younger lovebird seems to like the pellets better than the seeds, no pellets left in his bowl at the end of the day. I’m very satisfied with the product. It’s fresh and arrived on time. It does have a strong odor and maybe that’s what made them abstain from eating it at first.

コザクラインコに与えています。小粒と中粒のMIXになっていて、結構な硬さがある感じです。コザクラはクチバシがかなり鋭く力もある為大丈夫ですが、パッケージにあるセキセイインコには向かないと思います。
色が毒々しいですが、うちのコザクラ2匹は好んでかじったり、少し水に浸したりして楽しんでいます。水に浸しっぱなしでピンクやグリーンの色水になっていることもあるので気をつけてあげて下さい。

My parrotlet is accustomed to eating pellets (Zupreem). I saw these as a cheaper alternative that I intend to mix with his daily Zupreem pellets. I like that there were a variety of shapes in this pack ranging from very tiny to small- normally other brand of pellets are only about the same shape. Ingredients look about the same as other major brands. I’m definitely buying this again as a good overall mix.

I bought the parakeet, lovebird sized formula for my cockatiels, they will not eat it, and they wouldn’t be able to eat the larger bits anyway. They wouldn’t even try it, even though it strongly resembles the fruity Pebbles that they absolutely love.
My Dove, who is not a bird that opens the seeds, it eats them whole, absolutely LOVES it. And although my Dove does love it, it absolutely cannot eat the larger pieces either, which is a huge waste.
So I offer up the larger pieces to my critter, who will nibble it sometimes but doesn’t really care for it either.
If they made a bag of these with only the smaller of the pieces and not the larger pieces, it would be perfect.
For now, my thoughts are that the larger pieces are mostly acting as filler for the smaller birds food, and that they serve no real purpose.
I would stop buying it all together, but I think my dove would be upset.
And don’t freak out when your bird has brightly colored poo. The dye in it WILL change it from their normal color, mostly my doves turns red.
(I don’t know if that’s even healthy for them.)
So, 3 Stars.
