This is a reliable SSD and simply works. It’s low wattage technology makes sure it doesn’t get too hot. That’s exactly the reason why I bought it since I don’t like my laptop fans kicking in too often (I know CPU is always hotter than any SSD but still) I am not sure I would get any benefits buying a faster SSD.

Works flawlessly,
I use this as a secondary drive with my steam game library installed on it. I get the advertised read/write speeds and have no issues running games from it.

This is dram-less. That being said, if you have a use case for dram-less SSD storage, boom this is excellent value. I found two use cases for this and I bought two. They are both working excellently still. It’s been a couple years now. Now my use case was portable cold storage of numerous large files that will only need to be read with very minimal writing to the drive. So keep that in mind. I’m not using these drives for game storage or operating systems. I just stick them in an external enclosure and throw them in my backpack and use it like a massive thumb drive.

I previously purchased an Asus laptop that has two internal drives. One was a 1 TB SSD boot drive for the OS and the other a much larger drive as the primary drive for file storage, etc. I use a drive imaging program that has to be installed on and files saved on the boot drive. So the 1 TB drive I had was inadequate. This 2 TB drive was easy to install and using an external drive adapter (ORICO NVME M.2 to Type-C USB3.1 Gen2 10Gbps Transparent External Solid State Drive Adapter Enclosure) that plugs into a USB port, I was easily able to duplicate the 1 TB SSD boot drive and then it was just plug and play to install the new 2 TB SSD. Very happy with the purchase.

Matched the PC manufacturers product but 8x the space. I just replaced the old with the new and reinstalled windows 11. That was that.

This 2TB NvME was on sale when I bought it, and believe me, this thing is a game changer if you’re a gamer. I have a 500gb m.2 for my OS, and this 2tb one powers all my games. Amazing storage space, faster than the speed of light for read writes, and nice and sleek in the PC. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a boat in performance, or just as an upgrade from a HDD or SSD. Watch for when it’s on sale, and do yourself a favor by grabbing one.

Installed this as my secondary hard drive on my laptop and set it up in windows, use it to store movies without cluttering up my main hard drive.
