Demorou pra chegar porque vem de fora, mas funciona muito bem. Meu gato não fazia xixi de jeito nenhum sem a areia na caixa e esse foi o único jeito de conseguir coletar a urina sem ter que fazer extração diretamente na bexiga. A areia não absorve a urina e vc retira com uma seringa. No pacote já vem tudo inclusive o recipiente pra levar a urina ao veterinário.

Ok, so I have a male cat. Vet wanted a urine sample but his bladder was empty and she told me of this alternative. I was skeptical when the package arrived. There are three packages of sand, about a cup each. And vials which are not needed since the vet provided one for sending to the lab. Most cats are fastidious about bathroom habits. Mine is no exception. I had doubts so I poured all three bags into a shallow, small litter pan. There was still almost no sand in the box. You cannot add regular sand to increase the volume b/c it won’t work. I left him overnight and kept my other cat upstairs with me. This morning I came downstairs and looked. He had tromped around in the 1/2” or so of sand at the back of the box but had not gone. So I played the waiting game. He did eventually urinate and it was easy to use the SYRINGE which the vet provided but was NOT in this kit. So in summary, the product is a good idea BUT why so cheap? Why not send enough sand for this to work without a struggle? And why not send a syringe? Profit margin, I know. Too bad this company is looking to make a few more pennies than actually provide a solid product. And if a cat was ill, holding their urine would only increase their discomfort and probably be painful as well. I hope this company will get their act together because this could be a really great product.

My 15 year old cat was recently diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, so often needs urinalysis to check kidney values. Before I found this product my options for urine collection were either wait by the litter box with a ladle to catch it, or drop off my cat at the vet for hours for them to try to collect it. This product was such a stress reliever for me and my cat. I love that it comes in 3 separate pouches and has 3 collection kits for multiple samples. I dropped it in his box and walked away and he used it just like his normal litter. It worked exactly as intended and it was incredibly simple and clean to collect the urine. The vet was confused when I brought a sample in the included vial and when I explained this product they were impressed enough to ask for the info to pass on to other pet owners. Very happy and relieved to have found this product!

I was so nervous because my cat was sick and I needed to collect a urine specimen.. this litter was just enough for my cat to be interested.. the urine stayed on top like a puddle, making it very easy to collect. Excellent product!! And it comes with 3 pipettes and 3 collection vials. 5 stars and thumbs up from me.

This made it very easy to collect urine. We tested 2 of our cats. The product being hydrophobic, it was easy to clean the urine out and reuse it. Both cats used it right away. I think they preferred this over their regular litter. It looks and feels like sand. It is so much better than the crystals many vets give out. We bought 2 packs based on other reviews. Two packs worked, but 3 would have been much better. If you buy just 1, you will be very frustrated as it is not nearly enough. The price tag for 2 packs made me cringe but after using it and realizing it can be reused to monitor our cat with urine crystals (checks for blood with test strips we bought separately) the price seemed well worth it. If I could only use it once, I would have a much more negative review of it. I would have rated it 5* for quality but I deducted 1* for the small amount you get for the price.

This is the only product my cat would urinate in the litter box with. She needs to have her urine tested frequently and this product made it possible to get the urine without a big fuss from her and it was easy to use. I found that the sand can be used several times before tossing it.

Our cat is 16 1/2 years old and she has started to hate vet visits, especially if they manipulate her too much. This is not invasive, the urine really does rise to the top of the litter and if you slant it on an angle, you can easily catch it with the supplied dropper. Too easy!

We used the KIT4CAT Hydrophobic Cat Litter for our cat, Binx, when we needed a urine sample for the vet, and it worked great. Binx had refused to use the non-absorbent pellets the vet provided, but he used this hydrophobic sand litter right away with no issues. The unique coating kept the urine on top, making it easy to collect. However, I did have to use all three 11oz bags to sufficiently cover the bottom of the litter box. Despite that, this product made the process simple and stress-free for both Binx and us. Highly recommend it for any cat owner needing an efficient and non-invasive way to collect urine samples.

A must buy if you have to do urine collection at home. Works like a charm. Makes urine collection so easy. Much better alternative than having a vet do an invasive scope while at the vet. I can collect the urine at home and bring to the vet the same day or next day for urinalysis. This alternative is easy, painfree, and cost effective!

Our cat seemed to not even entertain the idea of using any of the other bead-like urine sample collection litters, but she took to this one almost immediately and without any fuss. The urine was very easy to collect after, as it pooled on top of the litter. Easy to clean, too. Also, importantly, there is enough of it to cover the whole tray area, in case your cat is fussy about there being enough litter in the tray. It seems expensive, but considering it contains three bags of it, it’s actually quite comparable in price to the seemingly cheaper ones which only come in one small bag, roughly of similar quantity to 1/3 of the total you’ll get from this.

Works great!!!! Super easy!!! Cats will use this!!!! I still have my Iwners bring the sample to our veterinary hospital for complete evaluation. But this is my preferred way to obtain samples when we don’t need sterile urine!!!!!
