I always enjoy different flavors out of those commercial coffee makers when in office and really want one at home. Can’t judge those expensive named brands so decide give this compact machine a try. What a surprise! It doing what it says and make out good taste coffee out of Kcup Capsules that friends gave us a while back. Compare to those “huge” one, this compact coffee maker is just what I want. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the similar product.

I got this for my salon and it has been nothing but trouble. It is hard to get the pods in and when you do it docent always open them when you close it and when it start brewing it shakes really bad. when done and you remove your coffee cup and open the lid to remove your empty pod it leaks a steady stream all over the place. It has been nothing but trouble and I going to try and return it. Totally bummed!

This is a very flexible machine. You can use this to brew with the original style Nespresso pods, K-cups (disposable only – not reusables), ESE pods (I have never used these) and ground coffee. You just have to change the insert the machine uses for the different brands. It has 2 preset water volumes that are fairly accurate, and you can “override” these if you wish.
Once properly prepared according to the directions (requires a number of “priming cycles” and possibly even the use of an included syringe to prime the pump), the machine made a good job of both the Nespresso and K-cups out of the box. I quite enjoyed the beverages it produced. The ground coffee took a bit of experimenting to get correct however, requiring trying different combinations of type of grind, amount of grounds, and volume of water. Eventually I did find a combination I liked.
The main issues I have with this machine is how loud it is and how severe the vibrations are the pressure pump causes. The first cup of coffee I made with this, vibrated off the drip tray and fell to the floor when I turned my back on it. After cleaning that up, I tried again with a different cup and it would have done so again if I had not held it in place. I cannot walk away from this machine while it is running. It is a good thing that the machine itself has suctions cups on the bottom or I think it would probably walk itself off the counter.
The other issue is how messy this is to use. It constantly drips water, even the day after it was last used when changing out pods/k-cups or the manual ground coffee espresso adapter. When changing the insert so you can change what you are making (i.e. from K-cup to ground espresso) it is even worse how much water it drips. If you try to make multiple cups in a row, you have to be very careful as the water that is dripping is VERY hot. When making just one cup at a time it isn’t a problem as you can let it cool before opening it, but if you are trying to make 3 or 4 in a row it is a bit hazardous.
I have seen where others find this does not make the coffee hot enough. I have not had any issue from that perspective. It is considerably hotter than our Keurig machine.
If you are looking for a multi-purpose machine this one is versatile in what it can do, but for me there are a few issues that you definitely need to take into consideration.

Coffee hot, crema, excellent flavor using Nespresso pods. Machine fast, did not encounter dripping. This is my second one.
The first one shook a lot more and took a longer time in producing an Espresso shot.
My comparison is to a old Breville with a frother. I am still looking for a Espresso cup that will remain on the machine without assistance while brewing. This also occur in my returned one. I will be trying Illy ese pods to see whether for my occasion use this machine is worth the bother to hold the cup on the machine for a cup of coffee.

I loved my Nespresso but it poop out after 3 years. I love espresso and my wife loves weak coffee which Nespresso doesn’t do. I got this so we could try both worlds. There are a few things. First, the 6oz is more like 10oz. The 2oz is about right. The Nespresso pods work well. K cups work well but come out weak unless you stop it early. The machine is loud and vibrates when in use so you have to watch it. Also when you pull out the insert it leaks excess water so a bit messy. Finally the tank does about 3 cups. So we are always refilling.
Over all:
+Good for the price and doesn’t tie you to one type of pod.
~Taste is ok if you like weaker flavors but if you stop it early then you can get a stronger taste

This is an espresso machine that can use a variety of pods or ground coffee. I normally use K-cups in a drip coffee machine and Nespresso pods for espresso. This machine can make a double shot of espresso or a larger cup, which is equivalent to an Americano (i.e. espresso with additional water), so can replace my drip coffee machine. See my video where I make a double shot of espresso (using a Nespresso pod) so you can hear it and see the amount of crema.
– You put your pod/capsule/portafilter into the proper holder, push it into the machine, then push the lever down, which pushes three sharp metal pins into the pod/capsule/portafilter.
– Max height of a cup is 5-1/2 inches (no drip tray). My favorite travel mug won’t fit, so I’ll need to pour it into another mug first before pouring an Americano into my travel mug. This height is fine for normal mugs and cups, though.
– There are suction cups at the bottom. I’m not sure if they are necessary since the weight of the machine keeps it from moving around, though.
– Nespresso: You put in original Nespresso pod upside down and three pins in the machine are the same position as Nespresso machines. The bottom of the holder punctures and makes the grid on the flat side of the Nespresso pod. Works as well as my Nespresso machine.
– K-cups: The holder has a large pin at the bottom, same as K-cup machines. You have to push your K-cup down into the holder and puncture the bottom with the large pin before the holder can fit into the machine. This isn’t clearly explained in the manual. If you just drop the K-cup into the holder, the holder won’t fit into the machine because the K-cup sticks up too much. The machine’s three pins will puncture the top of the K-cup, instead of one large pin in the middle (as in normal K-cup machines). However, that means you can’t use reusable K-cups because they expect one large pin in the middle of the top, not three pins arranged in a circle. I have different types of reusable K-cups and none of them work because the three pins hit plastic in the K-cup lid.
– Ground coffee: A combination plastic spoon and tamper is included. I tried the included portafilter with finely ground espresso beans and it worked well. The portafilter is 2 inches in diameter, and it would be better if you use your own metal/wood tamper because the plastic included one probably can’t take a lot of abuse and strength.
– The machine is compact because it doesn’t automatically eject Nespresso pods and you have to remove the pods and capsules manually. That means there’s some dripping of water and/or coffee when you pull out the holder, so there’s some minor wiping up to do.
– The machine is ETL tested and certified, so safe to leave plugged in 24/7
Overall, it’s very versatile, especially if you use different capsules/pods often and it makes good espresso and Americanos. Too bad about reusable K-cups, though.

I bought this after my Instant Pot brewer that brewed both K-cup and Nespresso capsules bit the dust and I wanted something that brewed both again. This is a poor substitute, unfortunately. The K-cup coffee is watery and when you pull out the K-cup attachment to use the nespresso one – even after 24 hours of sitting in the machine – coffee drips everywhere. I’m also getting grounds in my cup. I do like how compact it is, and filling up the water tank is easy, but it is LOUD and shakes the whole counter when it’s brewing. Not great when others in the house are sleeping. I’ll use this for now since it’ll be a hassle to return, but I’ll probably replace it with a better brand soon.

I love my espresso machine!! It’s small, about half the size of my ninja coffee maker, but it’s packed with options! I’ve only used it with the Nespresso original line pods, but it comes with multiple pod holders to accommodate different brands. It has multiple levels (7) that you can select to choose how many oz of brew you want. It even has the ability to brew room temp if you want it over ice.
This machine is so easy to use and brews a great cup/ shot of espresso. It can be a bit noisy while doing so, but it’s sooo worth it. I’ve been using this every day and am so happy with it! If I had to change anything, I’d say maybe the color? Brown doesn’t really seem to go with any of my decor, but I care more about the functionality of it- and it functions great!
