I’m in an apartment so using my KRK 6’s is too much and I don’t want to bother my neighbors even though they bother me constantly. I really like these. Comes with a nice bag so they can be portable. Comes with nice simple stands about the size of a medium shoe. I use to stream podcast or an occasional video. I don’t watch many movies or TV but would be nice for that. I do recording in Logic Pro on my Mac lap. A dialog box will come up and I select no sine I’m using an Apollo for an interface. You’ll need 1/4 to rca from the Apollo to the KRK but no biggie. I use headphones mostly but if a friend comes by we can both listen with the KRK. They fit my needs very well. Nice design. Received on time.

The product is solid. Good audio and construction quality. The bag is very good as well. This is a very good option for mobile studio.

You have to know that due to size you won’t have enough low end response. However, I believe is a good deal. It sounds good. I would just check the low end in my headphones and my big KRK. I have nothing negative to say. It is actually very nice. I was more prone to buy, after I saw that it comes with a very nice case to keep it.

I have KRK Rokit6 G3’s and I wanted something that was smaller for my desk. The GoAux 3.3″ for the size sounds good., Lacks a little bit on the lower frequencies but that’s to be expected with a such a small woofer. It has a fairly flat signal which I prefer for studio monitors. Not having any balanced inputs is a bummer but also to be expected with a speaker this small. None of the review say anything about using both the RCA and 1/8″ inputs at the same time. I can confirm that you can use them at the same time. There is no way to individually control the level for both inputs but it is nice to have a master volume on the front of one of the speakers to control volume.
To connect the the speakers together KRK decided to use 4 pin Molex connector which is often used on older motherboards. If you lose or damage this connector and wire it is possible to order the Molex connector to make your own cable. I’m not sure if KRK started selling replacement cables to connect the speakers together

I really wanted to like these but there are really annoying aspects that make these really annoying to use.
With Bluetooth when watching videos, when I would pause a video it would cause speakers to “pop”, and when I connected other Bluetooth speakers it did not display this behavior. Then when I connect hardwired, the Bluetooth blinking light wouldn’t stop.
I contacted Gibson support whom were extremely unhelpful. Poor design poor engineering cause these speakers to be far more annoying than their price should have them be.

These are great in the midrange and upper end. Accurate and neutral with good imaging. They would sound great with a subwoofer. However they lack any form of bass response. I am not looking for big bass in a monitor this size and my expectations were low in this regard, but when your bass starts rolling off at 100hz we have issues regarding the price to performance ratio. The iloud micro which asks for the same price at least when they’re both not on sale is flat down to 60hz with an f3 of 55hz. I’d estimate the f3 bass response down to about 90hz at best on these and they’re a similar size. KRK claims 65hz -3 dB and that is an absolute lie. Turning up the bass eq just gives you a muddy upper bass mess so that doesn’t help. In exchange you do get a bit more sustained spl vs the iloud but when i’m nearfield monitoring I don’t need those extra dB’s. If you need that spl you’d probably be in a larger room anyways and at that point there’s no reason to be buying small monitors. They give you a super long cable to connect both speakers (about 20ft or so) which is weird and makes me think they expect people to be in a larger room for some reason. I already have owned the ilouds and also other various 5, 6 and 8 inch monitors years and figured id try the KRK for a small desktop. I can’t recommend these unless you get a fire sale on them or pair them with a subwoofer.
