Just the right length to lock 2 bikes. It’s heavy as you would expect it to be and should keep your bike secure.

Didn’t realize just how big this is. The chain isn’t bad, but the lock mechanism is massive. To all the people saying “wrap it around your seat post”… are you insane? There is no way to put this on the frame of a normal bicycle without it being in the way. It’s just too big. Plan on carrying it in a backpack, or dedicating a frame-mounted bag to it. If this lock only has a 5/10 security rating, I imagine the 10/10 locks must come with wheels, or maybe their own trailer.
Aside from the size, it’s very easy to use and set, and definitely seems secure!

Really sturdy and heavy lock. The combinations move easily, something which tends to jam on cheaper locks. I feel comfortable leaving my bike locked with this. Resetting the code is also very easy.
The lock is very heavy, and adds a fair bit of weight to your bike.

I ordered a new, expensive, lock. I received a lock that’s packaged was damaged and appeared to have aftermarket tape on it. The lock was already open and the factory default combination seems to have been changed so I could not open it without knowing whatever the new combination was. Very poor quality control. I ordered a replacement.
Update – received a replacement that wasn’t in any original packaging, at all, and did not include instructions/manual. However, it hadn’t had the factory defaults changed, so i was able to open it and reset the lock with the Kryptonite YouTube video. The YouTube video, btw, left out vital steps that one is left to decipher on one’s own.
I always thought and assumed Kryponite was top of the market, but I certainly don’t believe that now. I’m not sure how much of this fiasco was Amazon’s fault, but there is clearly no synergy between Amazon and Kryptonite.

I have this length and chain link thickness, but in a keyed version. Wife likes this as no key is required, and should provide at least minimal to medium theft deterrent.
