I was sent a damaged strut/spring assembly (SR4452). My car has been stuck at the shop for more than a week already since I had to wait for this part to arrive to me. And when it finally came to me, it was defective. This part should have never passed qc even at the factory. One of the 3 mounting studs at the top was welded in crooked. This seller doesn’t have any more of these and therefore I can’t even exchange. I had to locate and buy this part from a different seller while my car still sits at the shop…for more than likely another week

This strut bolts in like it is supposed to and no more clunking from the old ones after 110K miles one strut was leaking and the top mount failed on the other one. Yes it will change the ride height for a few days. But the spring will settle and no problem with doing the alignment right away. Ride quality is the same if not better than stock.

UPDATED REVIEW: Received new part in a reorder. Part was not damaged. Supplier kept me updated with information on return and new order.
As for the part it is a perfect fit and is operating properly. Advise to manufacturer who packaged part. Provide better protection at the end of the package. The part is heavy and the mounting bolts can easily be damaged in shipping. Otherwise. perfect fit and return / replacement process worked.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Shipping boxes were damaged. Went to install the struts and the bolt / housing is bent.. Need to have replaced. Delaying car repair. On the other strut the top mounting nuts are missing asking for replacements. So far that strut looks OK. Low rating till I receive the new struts and bolts. Should be packed better and the mounting bolts protected.

Front strut worked out well. Easy to install and definitely made a difference on how the car drives when going over bumps. Leveled out the ride back to factory specs. Never realized just how worn the shocks were until I replaced all four.
