Lo compré para un cuarto pequeño para mi bebé y me gustó que puedes escoger una temperatura y el aparato se prende y apaga para mantenerse en esa temperatura, no esta prendido todo el tiempo para que el cuarto no este ni muy frio ni muy caliente para un bebé. Además es de un tamaño en el que no estorba mucho para un cuarto pequeño.

Es un buen producto, mantiene caliente una habitación mediana. Sin embargo puede ser molesto para dormir, si les molesta el ruido, les recomiendo buscar una opción más silenciosa

Worked but didn’t produce heat that well beyond about a 2 foot radius. Was still cold except for very close to the heater. I’ve owned another lasko heater and it kept it warm in a studio 2 room apartment. Guess it depends on the machine you get. I now live in a 2 bedroom apartment but trying to find a smaller place to rent. Lived in 950 Sq.feet
Would buy again but if it does like this one did I’m returning it asap for either a replacement or refund while able to.
Otherwise I liked it.
Edit 09/27/2023 852 am. Broke out this heater and plugged it in since I’ve moved to a trailer with my 7 uear old cat 🐈 Isley. The heater works great for my needs and it works wonderfully. I guess I had to be in the right place to feel the heat and oscillator works great too. Shows the temperature that it currently is (72) and shut-off automatically when reaches desired temperature [75]. Automatically starts set to 75 and goes upto 90. Didn’t come with a remote or manual and customer service is excellent and is sending me a replacement remote free of charge even though bought Oct 2022. It is accurate on temperature. It’s now been almost a year so it lasts for awhile and is durable. You ain’t bought yours yet?!??!!!
Oh yeah has energy saving feature to run at either 1500 watts or 900 watts which us good for electricity savings. Definitely recommend.

The heater has a very sleak and simple design. its very easy to know what each button does, its not confusing like some other products I have used. Once the heater is turned on within about 5 minuets the room is already fully heated. the temperature control feature works very well, stopping when the temperature reaches the desired degree. The product could deffinetly be just a little bit cheaper because of the plastic used but other than that the product is perfect.

I got the LASKO 5165 and am pretty happy with it for heating a pretty large basement bedroom – I have only been using it for a few weeks, so cannot comment on the longevity, but this is the third lasko space heater I have purchased and I have never had one fail (I usually have given them away when I move, hence why I keep buying them).
The room is quite large with high ceilings, so it does struggle to get to the set temp, but you can feel the heat almost immediately. The fan noise is comparable to other Lasko space heaters I have had in the past. The high- and low- modes have no change in fan noise. I wouldn’t call it quiet, but I don’t find it distracting or too loud — I don’t use it while sleeping, but I could see it bothering some people if they were using it overnight.
I have been paying attention to the heat of the electrical outlet based on Amazon reviews, and if I feel the wire/connection point, I do notice it getting warm, so as with any space heater, I wouldn’t want to run it unattended and I use an outlet where the outlet/plug is not in contact with any draperies/furniture. The casing of the space heater remains completely cool to the touch when in use, so I don’t have issues moving it around when I want to change placement in the room.
The most annoying thing about Lasko space heaters with remotes, is that beeping noise when you change any setting! You cannot turn that noise on or off, so it always beeps and it is quite loud.
If you are handy, you can remove the speaker on the circuit board, but it presumably voids any warranty and you want to be careful that it still functions safely afterwards. I have done it twice now — I removed it on this space heater and on another Lasko space heater I purchased years ago. You can google-instructions, but the basic procedure is:
1) remove screws on the rear casing (you will need phillips & torx screwdrivers) — be careful there is a wire attached to it (likely the temperature sensor), so be careful you don’t detach it when lifting off the casing.
2) unscrew the circuit board near top of unit (5 screws (one in the middle))
3) on top of the circuit board there is a black donut looking thing – that is the speaker – carefully with pliers remove the whole unit (I also used a flathead screwdriver to wedge the bottom loose/off) — do not remove any of the wires already attached to the circuit board.
4) re-attach everything. — no noise!
Obviously, be very careful, if you damage the circuit board it might not work at all or might no longer be safe to operate, do at your own risk and use your best judgement. I have been happy with the results, but I watch it carefully afterwards to be sure everything is okay. Right after ripping the speaker off I always have this feeling of dread that I broke it, but fortunately, I haven’t noticed any decreased performance after performing this fix.
If it didn’t have the beep, I would probably give this item 5 stars.

I don’t have a large basement but there are only two electric wall heaters in two different rooms. When the temperature outside goes below zero, the basement hovers around 66 Fahrenheit or less . I purchased this heater as a back up and I like the one hour time settings. I never have to worry that the heater is still running if I forget to check. I am using the low setting for now but wanted a heater that offered the 1500 watts. I spent quite a bit of time on Amazon looking at reviews and comments and so far I am happy with this choice.

🔴 Hace muy poco ruido (muy poco). En este punto si realmente no quieres nada de ruido usa los sistemas de radiadores. Si eres sensible al ruido este punto es importante para ti si no realmente ni lo notaras por que es muy poco ruido a mi me permitió dormir bien sin notarlo.
En general es un producto excelente, lo volvería a comprar y a recomendar

This is my 3rd heater of this type and brand I only got it after my last one simply wore out after 10 yrs of use. This heater gets warmer than my previous one did but maybe that’s because my old one was 10 yrs old and just worn out.. It came quick nothing to assemble came with a handy remote that I use only to prevent down the road any probles with the buttons on the unit getting wear issues. I have a two br apt and at 30 degrees f outside this little heater keeps my entire apt warm all night I discovered. My electric bill did increase using this heater by about $70,00 is the only down side but that was with using the heater 24=7 that month. It’s relatively quiet doesn’t disturb me sleeping other than a barely hearing it to know it’s working. At 25 degree f weather it didn’t heat my entire apt but did heat 2 rooms very well it hasn’t gotten any colder than that here this yr so I can’t comment on any colder ability to warm. I have had it now for 3 months with no problems. Cord length was good guessing 6ft. I like the white color it adds a look of newness and hasn’t shown any dust or dirt yet but if it does would be simple to wipe off I’m guessing.I sit it on the floor no problems using the controls located on top they are easy to see and reach. It has high and low settings both put out amazing heat. I can set it to run continuously or to run an hour and shut off. Other than the increase in my electric bill I have no complaints and would buy again.

Ordinarily for me I buy these ceramic type heaters and you have to put them by your feet to get any good out of them. NOT so with this one! Heats up the entire bathroom and I wind up turning it down most of the time! A tip if I may, ha,ha….If it’s too hot in the room you have this heater? Turn it down ONE degree then come back and check in 30 minutes or so. Yeah, it’s THAT good of a heater! I’ve had tower type heaters before and they don’t compare. Usually wind up going back to the open face ribbon element heater. Advise be sure to dust the thing out on a regular basis. You’d be surprised at the lint/dust they collect in the back.
