This is like a scam. It is costly for nothing. Even after buying online new software like the hyundai plus and Hyundai Korea, i cannot access ECM program, cannot write the VIN after replacing the ECM. Online code is not working.
The ECU Coding even when combined with Xprog 3 is not working fine. Online Technical is not almost available
Please stop selling or stop buying this tool.

The X431 PROS+ is a great tool for working on a variety of vehicles. So far, it has worked flawlessly for three of my modern vehicles (2 BMWs and a Porsche). I have been able to run diagnostic tests, including diesel tests, pull codes, and have found quite a few coding options for our newest car (2013 Cayenne). Additionally, it looks to have support for pretty much any make & model available, so I think that this might be pretty versatile for even a repair shop.
The Bluetooth OBD interface has a long range, making it easy to carry it around the car for the DSC brake bleeding procedure. Connects quickly and runs through a self-guided connection process which my 11 year old was able to use to set a door locking feature on a BMW. I like the topographical layout of the bus systems. In general, I’ve found it very easy to use.
What isn’t really shown in the Amazon listing is the carrying case, along with all of the cables and diagnostic port connectors for pre-OBD cars. I was able to use the BMW 20-pin connector on my classic to read data for a test. The case is really big, but it has a lot of free space as well for tossing in other tools.
It runs on a standard Android platform, which offers a lot of flexibility while using it, and has an integrated support line to Launch. There is a tough cover on it with a useful kickstand, and the tablet has a very robust feel, which is nice considering its possible uses. I like how the cover has a cutout for the power cable which allows it to easily decide which way to plug it in. Not totally necessary, but a very clever attention to detail.
I reached out to Launch with a couple of questions, and they answer very quickly, even on the weekend. I would definitely recommend this

Ok so I received this unit on November 29 2022. I have to say the unit itself from the beginning was awesome. Easy to boot up easy to set up and easy to input all your information. I love that it’s ran off of an android system. I’ve used it so far to program key fobs on a 2003 jeep liberty. Used it on a 2003 subaru outback to figure out a misfire. And used it on a 2005 chevy diesel to find the glow plug relay was bad. Found them all because of the awesome bidirectional features. It makes it so much easier. Now some vehicles you won’t use all the bidirectional controls because certain vehicles don’t have the modules to activate everything like that. The scanner itself Is a nice size to gold and work with. I love the stand on the back because you can you can hang it from the steering wheel and it makes it nice to work with. Also a great feature is it sets off a warning messege when your don’t telling you not to forget the receiver. Which we all know has been done by everyone with a wireless scanner. The features are going to take a while to learn it all. I have a bunch of scanners but this just has so much to it it’s gunna take a bit. I love the face that you can connect the endo scope to it and take pics and save them. It makes it nice to diagnose and save info. I havnt tried the tire pressure sensor programing part yet but from researching its easy to do. The best part is 2 year free update. That helps alot when your trying to learn it all. I have to say customer service is 100% amazing if you need any help or have any questions. If your a technician you’ll love this unit. If your a at home mechanic it may be pricey for you but I’d fork out the money because it’s worth it. I’m happy after 1 week. I will continue to update as I use.

Sono passato dal Launch CRP919E che riuscivi a fare qualcosina nelle macchine piu vecche , al LAUNCH X431 PRO3S che fai quasi tutto anche nelle machine piu recenti , prodotto eccezionale , facile da usare , qualche problemino con le Mercedes e Bmw , nella codifica degli inietori , per il resto prodotto molto valido !!!

This review is for all audiences shopping for an automotive scanning tool but my first comment has to be for those of you that are nervous about buying this product, like I WAS, because the country of origin is China and not the USA. Let me just say I took the dive for you and honestly, you will NOT be disappointed with this scanning tool. I also reached out to tech support and I received a response that same day in the evening which was refreshing.
I bought the Launch X431 Pro3S+ which is the latest and greatest of the X431’s to replace an old OTC scan tool that served its purpose at the time but let’s be honest, basic scanners are so time-consuming by looking up error codes that I decided to shop for a replacement.
I took around a month watching youtube videos and I was kind of sold on an Autel scan tool that I eventually got from Amazon. Well, it did good on some cars but totally failed on Lexus cars. I reached out to Autel support and they responded that they don’t support it. It was indeed a bummer as I wanted to replace the Lexus Techstream that runs on my laptop but I figured it would do. Well, it turned out that a friend of mine had a Launch x431 mini and it worked on Lexus cars. I shop with confidence at Amazon for a reason, I had to return it to get the Launch 🙂
Now about the Launch X431 Pro3S+, I’ve just barely scratched the surface using this tool but so far this tool has really impressed me. I’ve used it on a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat, 2004 Lexus LS 430, 2008 Mazda RX8, 2016 Toyota Corolla, and a 2019 Honda Odyssey. I used Intelligent Diagnoses and it automatically picked up all the vehicles except the Lexus. On the Lexus, I used Local Diagnoses and I was able to do everything Lexus Techsteam software did. I mean everything which was amazing. All bi-directional tasks!
As an example, I attached 4 pictures, one of them shows data of a shot bank1 catalytic converters on the Lexus that came out as code P0420. On another snapshot that has tabs, health reports, remote reports, and recorded data, you can go back and see all your data. I’m just a DIY guy that loves to fix cars on the side, this will totally pay for itself and some. Time is money.
Finally, the tablet is really nice! The hardware is solid and fast with a top-notch protective case. Also, there are so many hardware adaptors that I will probably never use but hey, if you need it someday It WILL be there. lol Oh, and the packaging was excellent!
