Takes hours (6) to wash a load and dry it. Not pleased with this combo at all. If you wash on anything other than wash & dry setting you have to hang dry the clothes. There was not an instruction manual. I don’t know if that make a difference or not. I’d return it but it was a nightmare getting it inside our camper.

I purposely waited six months from the purchase of this washer/dryer to post a review because several other reviews noted how, after a while of use, it no longer did the job. I can confidently say that is not the case for me. I use it 3-4 times a week for varying size loads and it has held up wonderfully.
I will note that there is a strange smell when using the heating function, but as a ventless machine this is to be expected and doesn’t affect the clothing or machine after it’s done. I don’t have unrealistic expectations for the machine, i.e; cleaning a huge load in a small amount of time, so I’m not disappointed when the run time is 3-4 hours.
All in all, a great machine if you are in a small home and run it while you sleep or are out.

I don’t like the lack of a dedicated lint trap, but a damp washcloth around the rubber seal does the trick pretty well. I would have liked to see a little more temp control for the dryer, but it’s still better than dumping money into a laundromat.

I love this machine! Due to unavoidable delays in using my machine, (7 hospital stays, long rehab, delays in installation , and other delays! ), my 1 year warranty ran out. I had actually used the machine for 11-1/2 months when trouble started. Local appliance company was called to install in March 2023 and same company called when machine stopped working in July 2024. Problem was intermittent, too. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t . Frustrating! Local company diagnosed a problem with the display panel from a te error that showed on the display panel. He ordered the part and when he got the part a month later it was replaced. Two weeks after I was able to use my machine it stopped working again. Same company, same te error on display panel. Same company but different tech came back and diagnosed that the control panel needed replacing, another whopping expense. I was very disappointed and was trying to decide if it was worth fixing . I wrote a 1 star review of what I called my “lemon” purchase.
The next morning, LG responded after reading my review. I made arrangements for LG to come fix this machine. The LG tech who came this week found the problem that had been causing me such trouble, and it was not the control panel . It was a ” “damaged coupler of the hose underneath the door boot causing heater thermostat to short out. Replaced hose and heater.” Problem fixed. Machine working just like new, and I don’t see that they charged me for this repair. My 1 star review has been erased. Thank you to a responsible and caring company who cares about their customers, both LG and Amazon .

Could not get this to dry under any circumstances even loads as small as 1 pair of jeans and 1 t shirt. If i cannot even wash and dry a single days clothes in this then it has no business being sold at all….

We are full time rvers, in Mar 2024 we bought a new Alpine, and we were tired of hauling clothes to the wash, so against some of our friends recommendations we bought one of these machines and with normal use it has worked superably, washes clean and dries very will
Now my wife is mad I was such a tightwad for waiting until our 4th rv to buy one lol

Hard to stabilize. Utilized several different methods to make it not shake and still does loudly. Load of clothes need to be minimal. Don’t recommended for a family, but a single person. Place machine on floor so it helps not shake. How to use instructions are hard to follow.

Fit perfectly in my washroom in my apartment. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and while there is a washer hookup, there is not enough space for a washer and dryer, and there is not a dryer vent connection. So, when I decided to purchase a washing machine I decided a ventless washer/dryer combo was the way to go, naturally. While there are a lot of options, most of them are no-name brands that seem sketchy and would have poor resale value. Something like this is nice because I could take it with me if I move, or I could sell it. Its small size is both a positive and a negative… It doesn’t hold a lot of laundry. Also, since you typically have to tumble laundry to dry it, it states in the manual that if you wash a full load, you have to remove half the load to dry it, which means two separate dry cycles.
There is one “flaw” with this machine. I was very excited that I could wash+dry my laundry in one go, so I wouldn’t have to “move” the laundry. However, in order to run a low spin cycle, you cannot use a wash+dry combination cycle, you MUST wash first and THEN dry. To access the dry cycle, you simply hit dry without selecting a wash cycle. The controls are confusing and unintuitive compared to a standard washer+dryer and I had to read the manual to figure out how to use the thing. Now that I’ve done so and washed a few loads of laundry in the way that I normally will, I’ve gotten the washer to work as expected.
There are a few downsides: 1) The ThinQ app is pointless, and running a dry only cycle counts as a cycle towards the tub clean counter, which means that since I have to run a separate wash and dry cycle, the tub clean counter is kinda pointless too! 2) Can’t run wash+dry combo cycle to use low speed spin. Now, the neighbors haven’t complained, because this building is over 100 years old and the floors are solid, but still, it makes me paranoid hearing my washer spin so loud, so low speed is a must, which means I have to attend to the washer. Not a big deal, but I thought I was gonna get away with no longer having to move laundry. 3) The small size of the unit means I can’t really do large loads, but since I live alone that’s not really a big deal. 4) It does take a while to wash and dry a load. To do some tshirts and underwear took about 4 hours, but at least I don’t have to take my laundry upstairs to the laundry room anymore. Now, I can throw in a load and not worry so much.
This unit has a lot of nice features for the price, and the cons and small size are really not a big deal in my case. I’m quite happy with my purchase, and look forward to clean laundry right from my own apartment.
