Great lens for the price, can’t beat it.
Before you buy, make sure you realize this is not a zoom lens. Focus and snap. It’s all manual

This lens is well made and performs well. It may be inexpensive, but it’s not cheaply made. It’s a good addition to my kit.

There are some procedural steps to use, so read and keep the instructions.
Good Lens for the money and provides greater wide angle definition.

I LOVE this lens!! I feel like it is much more easier to adjust your aperture and your lighting on this lens since you have to manually turn the lens, vs doing it in your manual settings on your camera, since you can see it change real time looking through it. This lens does not zoom, so you do have to move a lot to get the shot you want, but it’s worth it for the price and quality. I have never used another lens except for the one my Canon Rebel T7 came with. If you do portrait photography, this will be a game changer for you!

Quite happy with results, smooth operation, this is a manual focus lens, use it in manual mode . Getting nice shots with this lens.

I bought this for a portrait session and the photos were great, but the lens could be better. Switching back to my other lens.

If you have a Canon rebel like me just get canon’s original 50 mm 1.8f which can zoom and has stabilization and auto focus.

Best used with a tripod since it has no stabilization for clear images.

The bokeh effect is the best thing on this lens due to it’s 1.8f aperture which also can be adjusted only on the lens itself.

If you’re at events a lens like this will give you a hard time since you have to spend time on getting the right focus and it has no zoom or autofocus and even then make sure you don’t have shaky hands.

It was badly designed because when you are trying to focus you can turn the entire lens so you have to turn back the entire lens to get it back in place.

This lens i might never use or give away. At least it wasn’t expensive but a loss nontheless.
