We have a small office with 3 offices and a conference room, just under 1000 sqft. We were always having some issues in the offices towards the back and just uneven performance with our previous mesh setup. So I decided to try this one out. I know there is minimal control and what it is and is not. What it has turned out to be is precisely what we needed. It is stable and has excellent speed for what we need, in any room in the office. Also was one of the easiest systems I have ever setup. I don’t mind complexity as I work in the technology field, but it sure is nice when you can just plug and go.

    Would recommend.

Bought this since I am a long time Linksys owner even if I knew the company has been bought by Belkin and then Belkin was bought by Foxconn.

I was totally frustrated! I was hoping to replace an old Linksys router, EA7300, that wasn’t coping with current internet needs. On the EA7300, download speed was ~300 MBps and upload was ~90 MBps.

According to Spectrum, I should be getting almost a symmetrical up- and down-load speeds.

So I bought the Linksys Multi-gig Micro Mesh WiFi 6 System.

I connected the Linksys Multi-gig Micro Mesh WiFi 6 System, and to my suprise, the download speed went down to 150 MBps and the upload was 1.3 MBps. I cannot believe my eyes, so I reset the modem and after a 3 minute wait time, reconnected the router.

    Same result!

So I repacked the router and nodes, and sent it back!

Now I ordered the Asus RT-AX86U Pro. Let’s see if this is any better.

I was in need of a new router and wanted to go with a “Mesh” system to provide better coverage in my two-story house. I searched on Amazon and came up with a Linksys Mesh system that got good reviews. I purchased it because the price was in my ballpark $150 range. I received the Mesh unit the next day and began the installation process per their directions.

The first indication of an issue was the app they wanted me to download was no longer available. I proceeded with installation nonetheless and met my second concern – the units could not detect my internet connection.

I contacted Linksys Tech Support and provided them with the serial number of my unit. The representative notified me that the unit was 7 years old and no longer supported. I said I just bought it and it was wrapped and sold as new. So beware, some sellers are selling old products even though they’re “new” – as in never used.

I then did further research specifically looking at the date indicated in the specifications section of the listing. I was happy to see this product was released in March of this year. I bought it even though it was $100 more than I wanted to spend. The product came the next day and again was wrapped nicely by Linksys. This time the instructions were very simple. Simply plug in the unit per their instructions and the Mesh system essentially found itself and connected to the internet connection. Since the installation a couple of weeks ago the system has performed very well in both the upstairs and downstairs of my house. The mesh system has extended my previous coverage, allowing for a better internet connection in my garage and front yard. Though I wish it was priced a little less, it is providing me the coverage and reliability that I was after. I also installed the app for better management. I haven’t used the app too much yet, but it looks like it will be very helpful if I need to get more control of the network and its access to guests,

The product looks good and works good. It was not as easy to setup as I expected thru the app, but Linksys tech support walked me thru setup an everything went smoothly. I have always used Linksys network products and have not been disappointed. The also have more LAN ports than others I looked at.

These were so easy to set up I wasn’t certain I was doing it right. But sure enough, it’s almost as simple as plugging them in. It made a huge difference in our 2-story, 2750 sq ft home. Seamless connections everywhere now.

Seems to relay the WiFi signal very well and covers a nice scope of square footage. Our home is a multi story construction – so I really needed help transferring the signal from the bottom floor to the middle and top floors. This product did the trick. Thank you 👍👍

I have been using LinkSys since for more than 20 years, and while i always end up happy with the product there is occasionally a difficult setup. The “parent” node as they call it went in fine, gave it the same ID and password as my old unit and all my devices worked like a charm. When i tried to set up the extenders, no joy, none of the basic troubleshooting worked. I called tech support, which answered right away, and after a lot of troubleshooting we found the child nodes and parent had incompatible firmware versions. I am surprised they shipped like that. We updated both the parent and child firmware, which really took a while, and after that everything is fine, fast, good range, child nodes are a good 30-40′ away from the parent and connection is fine. But one hour 17 mins with tech support, not fun.
