Lovely jacket. I’m a size 10 Australian and this jacket is a size small. Fits generously so can layer underneath if necessary.

The coat itself is excellent, but the fit was too small (my wife is a medium generally, most things marked “medium” fit her well), so the 3 stars is not a reflection on the coat’s quality, it is on Amazon’s customer service. Sending it back & getting credit was not a problem, but trying to get the larger size was: I got the coat on sale, but after the sale the price was $130 more. And even though Amazon return (exchange) policy says: “If you’re exchanging the same item for a different size, we’ll cover any increase in the item since your purchase”, that did not happen. After talking to customer service on 2 different occasions and escalating it to a higher level, the best they could do was give me credit of $100 toward the larger size coat. I accepted it because I was tired of fighting them.

Ok, this coat is warm..the hood works nicely (not to big)…
The length is perfect, coverd my butt and upper legs from the Windy , blustering ice and snow of Chicago-
I do wish the coat had ribbed wrist protection, this coat does shed feathers which is a bummer!

Great lightweight winter coat. I have room to wear layers under if needed. Good quality zipper. Hood is large and tends to blow off my head but I otherwise love this coat.

It’s a generous fit, and quite warm. I wear this every day and it has lost minimal feathers. One annoying thing is the zipper getting caught in the fabric that’s behind it while zipping it up, every time. Overall though, I am happy with this purchase!

I’ve been wearing this coat for about a month. Overall it’s great. It’s has generous sizing. I sized down 1 size and could probably gone down another size. The pockets are big, the snaps are great when you don’t want to fully zip it and it’s surprisingly warm. (Only worn with temps between 28-40f). It’s light weight so you’re not wearing something super heavy or bulky.
Draw backs include the zipper and hood. The zipper is hard to get started and on multiple occasion it has unzipped from the bottom up resulting in a zipper snag that takes some time to get undone. The hood is HUGE! No human has a head this big. I wear women’s large or xl hats so for me to complain about hood size is unusual. The hood is so big it covers down to my mouth. I have to have a free hand to hold the hood up while walking or I can’t see. Almost not worth having a hood at all. Honestly considering getting mitten clips to hold the hood at the right spot.
Overall it’s a great coat for the price.

Needed a warm winter coat. I had a London fog coat but it was too small. This was a perfect replacement. The quality is very good. I’m using it in 9 degree weather and it keeps me warm. No issues with the zipper and the pockets are nice and big for gloves. Highly recommend.

One morning driving to WAY Upstate, NY with my daughter – we ran into an unexpected blizzard. I saw my daughter’s wool coat totally soaked. I knew I had to get her some type of snow coat. After many long searchers I came across this coat, fell in love with it and purchased it. I was a little uncertain if my daughter was going to like it as she hasn’t worn a snow coat since early elementary school days (my daughter is now 37 years old) and does not wear any bulky clothing. When my daughter tried on the coat – it fit her beautifully and she looked fabulous in it. As she is a little on the hippy side, I got her a medium which fit perfectly and no bulk at all. With the recent cold, rainy, and snowy weather we have been having in NYC – she thanks me everyday for this coat as she feels absolutely nothing from the cold, rainy, and snowy elements…..Just feeling warm, dry, and comfy.

I ride a scooter to and from our local school to pick up my children, and the frigid weather is no match for this jacket! It keeps me warm even in the coldest weather and wind chill. It is super light, so I don’t feel weighed down at all, and it can be easily packed into luggage or a carry-on bag. I love the fit, which is true to size, especially since I have larger hips. I often have to size up to fit the hips, but for this jacket/coat, I did not. It does not make any noise when wearing it (funny, I know). I love the detachable hood, too!

I can always count on a London Fog coat for quality, but most important to me was the roomy upper arm/sleeve because I have a heavy upper arm. It’s a good looking coat, warm but not too heavy to maneuver in. The hood is removable if not needed.
