Cute enough to read, can be funny, and romantic, however does start to drag as you wait and wait for something to happen that ultimately is underwhelming.

A história desses dois é linda e tocante. Eu amei cada segundo do livro! Muito bom. O epílogo moveu meu coração. Que encontro lindo!
Paola Envila –
Muy bien libro, me encanta. Es una edición de bolsillo entonces es muy pequeño pero muy grueso. En cuanto al formato, está excelente. Tiene la letra un poco chica para mi gusto pero se lee bien.

A very different way to write and even read. I just couldn’t put it down, even read it over breakfast. It made me imagine the characters in my head and I can’t wait to see it on the screen. Hope it is as wonderful as the book.

Love, Rosie tells the story of two best friends, Rosie and Alex, Who grow up together. Everything is perfect for them until Alex is being forced to move to America with his parents far away from Rosie. Only after being separated they understand that they have feelings for each other but they decide to keep he has a secret.
When Rosie visits Alex she thinks that this is the perfect chance to tell him what she feels but it’s already too late and Alex have a girlfriend, soon-to-be he’s wife. She comes back home and after a while decides to move on and start dating again. She meets a great guy, having a perfect job and her life’s seems to be perfect, right as Alex getting a divorce.
Suddenly Rosie’s marriage starts to fall apart and Alex has to win her heart over again.
When I started to read the book I went crazy, there are no descriptions and the whole book is writing in conversation style; chats, letters, postcards, emails. Luckily I kept reading and discovered in the main using heartbreaking story. I’m not exaggerating when I say that Cecelia Ahern is a genius! She took my heart away and did with it whatever she wanted. I HATE and LOVE the book at the same time, It was so frustrating every time that I thought ‘this is Rosie and Alex finally going to be together!’ but of course, I was wrong and Cecelia somehow succeeded to ruined it.
For one moment you’re happy but then you’re sad… Not gonna say how it ended, you have to read at yourself 😉
In the bottom line- if you love romans and you want your heart to explode from love this is the book for you! Amazing and highly recommended!

Yes, it’s been mentioned before, but I feel it is important to stress it: this book is also sold as ‘Love, Rosie’ and ‘Rosie Dunne’ – it’s all the same book, people! So don’t buy it more than once. (Even though I did, because I own it on Kindle, and I owned it in paperback, but it started falling apart after the millionth time I read it – only a slight exaggeration, I assure you – so I bought a hardcover copy too!).
I have read this book too many times to count. It’s the story of Rosie Dunne and Alex Stewart, who have been best friends since childhood. You can tell from the very start that it’s a love story, and that Rosie and Alex are meant to be together, but they never quite seem to manage it, and go through all the hurdles life throws at them (including children, and several failed marriages) together. It’s the story of the strongest kind of friendship, and is full of moments that still make me cry from laughing so hard, even after all the times I’ve read it. It’s also got some beautifully written words in one of the characters confessions, and the whole story is written in notes, letters, emails, chats, etc. which makes it great to read.
Basically, this book will make you laugh, cry, and get so frustrated with the characters apparent inability to work things out that it will drive you insane – but you’ll love every page, I guarantee it!

This is the story of Alex and Rosie who are best friends since their young age. we can see their friendship going on over the years despite the fact that Alex had to move to the US with his family. Rosie had a difficult life having a girl at the age of 18; she saw all her dreams going into ashes and was she confronted to the real life of a young mother. During this period, Alex moved to Harvard to become a cardiologist. One fact is they quite never lost contact with each other despite their own life and their own difficulties to deal with life. They were quite always supportive to each other and very helpful in the other’s life.
During all those years, they will be in touch via instant messages, letters, invitations, e-mails. So don’t be surprised by the form of the book.
There are many people involved in their life such as their husband and wives; Alex’s brother Phil ; Rosie family: Stephanie, Kevin, and her parents; Rosie best friend Ruby. But we are also involve in the story of Katie (Rosie’s daughter) and Toby who is her best friend .
The big question of the book is: is a friendship between a man and a woman possible without turning in a love affair? Or can it be possible to be best friend with someone who is the opposite gender without messing up our own life ?
My favorite character is Rosie : we see her fighting all over the years and she never gave up for the love of her child Katie. She was really down to eath too.
The book is really well done. First, I was on the way to put it down when I saw it was only instant messages and emails but the story is so nicely written that It quickly becomes really addictive . I wanted to know what was going next , what will happen to them, what they will answer to the other one . So I kept ready until late in the night ..
It’s at the same time a funny by the way they talk and by some funny times and sad book: I was so involved in Rosie’s life that sometimes I wanted to cry when I saw another bad thing happened to her.
SO Cecelia Ahern did a great job. I loved this book so much.

Love, Rosie is a charming and heartfelt read! The story, told through letters and emails, makes it unique and engaging. The characters feel real, and the emotions are raw and relatable. However, the pacing can be a bit slow at times, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. Overall, it’s a lovely book, and I would still recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic stories.”
