We bought these for our 3 year old son to try out on the mountain for a first time skiing experience. It worked pretty well. They do not lock in at the back of the foot so they do not give the same amount of stability on the mountain as real skis. We guided our son between the legs, so it was not an issue. His winter boots (size 8) fit in nicely as well. I was able to tighten the straps down enough so he would not slide around too much. However, the straps are quite long so you have to find a place to tug them into (we used the Velcro strips of his shoes) so he would not ski over them and fall. The poles came in handy as well. I held them horizontally between my hands and had my son hold onto them when we went down the mountain. Overall a good purchase.

I bought this skis for my 3 years old girl. Our plan was to have her used this ones till she will be 4 years old. I will not buy this type of sky again better to wait till the kid is 4. Because they don’t have the support to put the special sky bots, your child feet will not stay properly with the regular snow boots. Otherwise the quality of the product is good and because of that I gave it 3 stars.

Great for toddlers. Since they can be used with regular boots, you can use them for multiple kids

We bought these skis for our 2 year old – not to necessarily ‘ski’ but to get used to the idea of having skis on. We x-country ski a lot, and he has seen us ski, so as soon as he saw his own pair he thought they were the coolest thing ever… so we had a bit of a jump start there. They are very easy to get on and off. If you strap them down tight, they stay on very well, even through small tumbles. Having the poles are great – I wasn’t sure at first for a 2 yr old, but now I am very glad we have them. The poles help our son march around on his skis. They are just the right length for the little ones. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to get their very young one acquainted with skis.

Skis are darling. The straps come loose on my child’s boots about once a minute, so we have to tighten them about every time she falls, but she only wears size 7 toddler boots, so we are working with tiny feet. These skis are designed for a range of boot sizes, which is great, but 7 is definitely a little stretch on the small side. Hopefully straps stay tighter when she is a little bigger in coming winters. My guess is these will work well for ages 3-5 typically.

Our 37 month old loves these! It was not clear to me in the description that the heels were free and thus the skis are easy to use as Cross Country skis. He wore them indoors for about an hour to adjust to the length and become mindful of not crossing the tips then out we went for a couple of small laps. He was so proud of his ability … these are pretty short and appear to be very durable …. I am completely satisfied except that I made the mistake of clicking the push one button to complete your order icon and thus missed the free shipping. I won’t do that again!!

We haven’t had a chance to use these yet. End of January and no snow in the Chicagoland area!! Our first impression is that they appear to be nice quality and she just loves the colorful pink design. She has skied on the carpeting – what a sight! Perfect for intro to skiing, no metal edges and a profile design on the bottom to make walking a little easier. Exactly what I expected, so worthy of the 5 STARS. I’ll update once we use them IF anything unusual happens – but I can’t see anything negative to comng up.

I had two sets of these, and it was fun and pretty easy to use. Needed some adjustments but since it was the first ski set it was fine. When we took them out of the original box this year ALL 4 shoe holders were broken. !!!!! As they were JUST SITTING IN THE BOX over the season. Complete waist!
