Easy to put together and to use! I’ve made over 50 booklets with it already and it tastes only a few minutes to make 1 book. I use cardstock so I could only put 2-3 piece in at a time but if you have your papers in order it doesn’t take long to get the holes punched in. Easy to bind together and works well.

Bought this to put together manuals for a yoga retreat. It worked just fine. The manuals came out beautiful. The plastic spirals are OK quality but they held everything together. Machine is very easy to use. Very easy to understand. I hope it holds up overtime but for now it’s great.

I purchased this to bind my homeschooled kiddo’s books. It works great. It is easy to use and keeps the pages together. The only downside is when the kids turn the book inside out, some of the pages come lose. So it is better for completed work that needs to stay together than work in progress.

It was easier loading the combs with sheets than I thought, The combs are made long so trimming them with scissors give them a finished look.
A few lessons learned when using this at 4AM to make 4 books due in a few hours. 1. It has trouble punching through 4 sheets of acetate. Although it can maybe punch 12 sheets of paper, the acetate can make the machine jam and then it will be difficult to get it unstuck.
2. Practice on spare sheets to get the alignment perfect. Sheets need to be square and held firmly against the back for any shift results in misalignment. The machine worked fine on card stock backers for the booklets I was binding.
3. be careful not to bunny ear any sheets when sliding them into the machine. It’s sometimes difficult to see what’s going on so you have to “feel” if the sheets are all laying flat.
Once I got the hang of it, it works great and the books turn out fine. I prefer spiral bound, but this was way more budget friendly.

I needed to bind some packets for our church youth group but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a machine I would only use maybe once a year. This machine is perfect! Works exactly as described. Super easy. The books turned out beautiful and the kids loved them.

This works well for occasional jobs, but the construction materials aren’t robust enough for heavy usage in a busy office. The instructions state that one can punch 8-12 sheets (20 lb) at once. I am using 24 lb paper, and only punch 5-8 at once. I can get the machine to punch more, but it struggles and the handle flexes if the machine is overloaded. An average man could probably break the machine by overloading with paper. If you need an economical option for occasional comb binding, this machine would be a good choice.

This was exceptional value compared to others out there. It is very easy to use, although, I had to watch a u-tube video to figure out how it works as this was the first time binding and there were no instructions in the box. This is a fun way to make workbooks for school groups, projects, conventions etc. I have only one complaint. One of the teeth does not punch through the plastic cover completely requiring that I use scissors to cut it off, that’s why I gave the 4 rating, but not worth the hassle of returning it. I will use this over and over again.

Generally they are super impressed. For the price, this is just a great investment in my opinon. No issues with use. You do need to empty out all of the bits on occassion tho. I didn’t realize that until I picked it up to see what was wrong…..after I cleaned up the mess, I realized it might be better to be more proactive on to cleaning it out LOL
