Originally, this seemed like a great “Why not?” purchase, because if it did not work I was not out that much money and at least had a decent boom arm with pop-filter.
Well, after two or three days the mic crapped out. I plugged it into the Zoom H6, I have phantom power turned on, and when I plugged it in I heard a loud noise and then silence.
The actual quality of the mic was not bad for this price point, especially if you used it in a treated space or a closet full of clothes.
As for the construction quality of the boom arm and pop-filter are good, not amazing, but I am pleased for what I paid. If the mic did not crap out after a few days I would have given this 4 stars, maybe even 5 because of the value. Not sure what else to say! I wish it did still worked!

Just a few hours after writing this, using the exact same setup, the mic started working to the same quality as it did prior. After this, I increased my review from 2 to 4 stars, because (1) for a cheap mic it sounds good, (2) while I would not rely on this as your sole mic it is a good addition for budding podcasters/vloggers, and (3) eh… “why not?”

I’ve been using these microphones for 5 months now and they’ve worked really well! They were really easy to use and we’ve gotten a lot of compliments on the sound quality. I did notice that there were some static sound issues that started recently so I reached out to customer support and they were fantastic!

I was excited to get this as it was really needed. I wanted to use it to record as well as teach my high school band and choir classes. I didn’t get to open the box for a few weeks. When I did it looked great in the box. I set it up to record using an interface. It kept slipping down no matter how I put it and didn’t want to stay clamped to the table. I made the adjustment since it was not co-operating which put me in an uncomfortable position. Then the mic didn’t work. I even tried a different cord that I knew worked. Nothing. Just to double check I tried a mic I have and it worked fine. Then the little clamp on the bottom came loose and fell apart and I had to catch everything in mid air.
So disappointed and such a waste of money that I don’t have to waste.
