Well this product seems to run very good, sadly FAN3 fails to even run when running in SwitchOS, yet does in RouterOS.
This issue is down to MikroTik Assemblers plugging FAN3 into the FAN4 Header and SwitchOS cannot see FAN3 when plugged into that port, whereas RouterOS does a Fan-Detection at start up.
Moved FAN3 connector from the FAN4 Header and put it into its correct header (FAN3) and it now detects all 3 fans on RouterOS and SwitchOS.
That issue aside the product runs rather well and the fans do not make that much noise when they are spinning and does keep the SFP+ Transceivers cool.

Not sure what is the ideal operating temperature for the product, but my templates for SNMP checks has the chassis of the product running 65 to 70 degree Celsius.
Other than that, the product has been working great.

Fantastic value for money. Bought this switch to partially upgrade my network to 40 Gbe. In one QSFP+ port I have an optical transceiver from FS.com, in the other I have a DAC cable.
This switch has issues with module compatibility: I could not get the optical transceiver from FS.com recognized unless I booted in RouterOS. SwOS recognized the module but could not complete a link. I could also not get a DAC from FS.com to be properly recognized at 40 Gbps. I could only force it to 10 Gbps, and then only one lane was used. I then replaces the DAC from FS.com with one from Wiitek, and that one got recognized instantly.
The software is not great: RouterOS is complete overkill for a switch. It’s so difficult to navigate that I pretty much gave up and I am using it as a dumb switch (just made the uplink an access port on a different switch). SwOS was much more reasonable but like I mentioned above, that OS would not work with my modules.

Great little switch for the price. One can’t find 40G trunks at this price anywhere! Unlike other reviewers I had no issue with transceiver compatibility. 10GTek 40G and ipolex 10G-T transceivers all worked at rated speeds. My issue (and the 3 star rating) was due to a dead power supply. Thankfully it comes with a redundant pair. Now waiting for the replacement. Definitely upgrade the firmware when you get it. One nit – the manual is online only and it looks to be a series of Confluence pages. Hard to archive in case the company goes under, need to dump each page to a PDF…ugh. One future improvement – 4 vs 2 40G ports would be nicer :).
