I cannot believe I was able to find an ice cream maker that is so easy to use and experiment with. This is so fun, and though I haven’t gotten it completely figured out yet, I am happy experimenting with recipes. It is easy to use and directions are clear and simple. The hardest part is making the cream to turn into ice cream. But the machine is ready for when that time comes!

Easy to use, and fun. I thought we used melted ice cream but it’s actually a recipe you’ll need the ingredients for. It’s actually really good and you can customize it with your own add ins like crushed Oreos or candy

This flat frozen sheet is perfect for you or your kids to experiment with rolled ice cream. I froze it overnight FLAT and UPSIDE down. This is important so the liquid inside freezes evenly, and along the back of the metal surface. Once frozen, you can reposition in the freezer if needed. The surface stays frozen for a while, especially if your ingredients are cold (condensed milk and cream, plus add ins). The spatulas are pretty standard, but do the job. The entire kit is exactly as pictured in the listing. It’s a fantastic little kit, though will only get you a few small servings. This is a good starter kit, and if it’s something you or your family love, then investing in a plug in unit would be a good next step for prolonged freezing and batch making. Definitely recommended!

My kids were so excited about this rolled ice cream maker. They are having a blast experimenting and practicing, and I am sure that one day they will be expert ice cream rollers. After being put in the freezer for prep, this thing is very cold. We have a different type of ice cream maker, too, so we already had a huge variety of recipes, which also work well with this. In addition to the fun of rolled ice cream, you can use this to do a Coldstone-style concoction, which is also a lot of fun. One of the best things about homemade ice cream is the ability to control the ingredients and go healthier using things like protein shakes or yogurt in your base.
