I use this protein powder for my daily smoothies and it tastes amazing with things added or without. Is a good meal replacement for when on the go. Sometimes I take it at night to keep me full through the evening so I don’t snack.
It’s good quality protein that gives you energy and can focus because you’re not hungry. It’s like having a dessert to me because it taste so good. I even make protein ice cream with it.

Not being one to reinvent the wheel, I tried the Cookies and Cream Muscle Milk on the recommendation of my son although I did do my own research prior to embarking on this nutritional journey. As I had returned to the gym one year ago with a regular and vigorous workout schedule and regimen, I struggled to get adequate protein in my diet. This product allows me to get 32 grams of protein (equivalent to 5 eggs, 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt, 2 cups black beans); I dissolve it in 12 oz of cold water in a shaker bottle. Fearing the worst as pertaining to taste and texture, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it for the first time. Aside from the cookie crumbs in the product, the entire powder dissolved completely. The flavor was pleasantly sweet though not overly so, the texture was not gritty or chalky, and no lingering aftertaste remained. One of the best things about Muscle Milk is that it has been tested for over 270 banned substances which offers an added element of confidence and security in the product. I have been using this product for workout recovery and protein supplementation for about one year. Along with other dietary changes and a continued workout schedule my strength, stamina, and definitely muscle mass have improved. I went from being unable to do one sit-up to doing regular strength training and high intensity interval training workout classes at the age go 72. Of course this change is multifactorial, but the use of Muscle Milk has become an important part of daily physical fitness routine.

Got this for my boyfriend as he just started working out and needs high protein.
The first shake I made him I followed them measurements on the container. I thought it was really good. I have used many powders and drank many shakes, so I actually like the consistency of the chalk/grit in it. My boyfriend wasn’t a fan- so I did only one scoop in his next one and he said it was better. I find that to be kind of silly because he could just eat something with 15g of protein.
I used my frother to blend it and that really helped get any dry clumps blended out very nicely.
I got the vanilla thinking it would be nice to put in the blender with some fruit or something- will try that next.
I thought the amount of product for the money was a great value, nice vanilla taste and of course MM is just an OG product- totally comparable to any way over priced GNC product you can get.

This is a decent value protein shake.
I bought the chocolate flavour and it tastes like cake mix. I like it but my girlfriend had a sip and wasn’t so keen.
I have not tried the other flavours so cannot comment on those.
I have the shake with water in the morning as soon as I get up and also straight after the gym session at night with a teaspoon of creatine added.
It does not contain lactose which is a good thing as I am lactose intolerant. I have had no stomach issues since taking this twice daily for the last 2 weeks.
As mentioned by someone else, it does contain 300 kcal per serving (2 scoops) which may be too much for people trying to loose weight. I am trying to bulk up my muscle so this is an easy way to get an extra 600 kcal per day plus a stack of protein and vitamins.
The 2240g tub should last 1 month when having 2 shakes per day.

I’m my opinion this is one of the best tasting protein powders available. There are some that have higher protein content and may be better quality for body building but unfortunately taste like crap.

I love the flavor but it clumps like crazy. Worse than baby formula. This is my first time using it, I’ll be trying to remix it later with a blender but yeah if you try to mix it with just a spoon it’s not gonna work. Need one of those bottles that has the metal ball thing in it for mixing better or a blender

We’ve all been there before, standing in the aisle at GNC or some other supplement shop wondering which giant tub of colored chalk we were going to buy in the hopes of shoving it down our throats in return for instant He-Man like muscles and power.
Well… this is it my friends. Muscle Milk is the best choice. Except, it won’t turn you into a mass monster. That’s the bad news. Building muscle takes time, and a lot of effort. (Think endless Rocky training montages for about a year or two straight…)
The GOOD NEWS is that Muscle Milk doesn’t actually taste like chalk either. The taste isn’t amazing… but no protein powder tastes amazing. Anybody who says so is a filthy rotten liar. 🙂 However, it does taste good. I prefer the chocolate varieties, but none of them are bad. (A lot of protein powders make you gag. Shoot, I tried one back in high school that I literally had to add honey and chocolate syrup to in order to down the rest of the noxious powder without using it as an Ipecac replacement.)
But these days I don’t have the metabolism to get away with adding in my own flavoring aids…
What is really good about Muscle Milk, besides the fact that you can mix it with a spoon and actually drink it, is the fact that it is good quality and clean.
I am a drug-free powerlifter (when I am not at my desk writing amazing fantasy novels…). Being clean is important not only for my competitions, but also because I am trying to set an example for my sons… all five of them! I have trusted Muscle Milk for years now, and they are my go to protein supplement maker. Period.
Does it pack on slabs of rock hard muscle and instantly give you abs? Nope. I have yet to turn into He-Man. But that’s likely for the best as my wife would probably not want me gallivanting around in fur-lined briefs with a sword strapped to my back. (Neither would you, I am so white that when I take off my shirt I can be used to reflect the sun over a mile away…)
This protein (and all quality proteins) does help you repair and recover after you go in and kick your can with 10 sets of 500 pound squats followed by a full body routine that would put lesser mortals in the ground.
No bloat, no “other” GI issues. Decent price. Overall, go grab it- you won’t be sorry.
