Okay, I would like to start by saying I do not give poor reviews often. But this stuff is the WORST. I first tested it on a small patch of my leg. Left it on for 3 minutes, washed off-no reaction. My leg was already shaven so I couldnt see how it worked quite yet.
I moved on to use it on my underarms- which is actually what I wanted this for anyway. Set the timer for 3 minutes and washed off after the timer. Let me tell you, my skin itches and stings like crazy! And 0 hair came off! 0!! The only thing this cream did positively was lighten the darker skin of my underarms.
It smells aweful as well.
Instead please use VEET! I used Veet hair removal liberally, all over including sensitive areas for 5 minutes. 0 burning 0 itching and no aweful smell!!!!! Plus i had AMAZING results with no skin sensitivity afterwards!

Who ever packaged this must have used it first. Was covered in the lotion when I took it out. The lotion was on the bottle discolored and crunchy around the lid

I had a friend recommend this specific type of Nair to me after I complained about shaving. But after reading some of the reviews on here, I was a little hesitant to give it a try given I have VERY sensitive skin. Still, decided to take a chance because of my friend.
Easily the best decision I’ve made in awhile. I’ve used this particular type three times now and I have had fantastic results each time. My skin hasn’t had any irritation issues, no burns, not even any missed hair. I left it on for the maximum of ten minutes the first time because I was skeptical, but the second and third time I left on for five and seven minutes, still had the same results.
I will definitely be ordering more when I run out.

I starting using Nair the day it was delivered to me because I wanted hair free legs for the weekend and didnt want to use the same razor that was giving me cuts on my legs. Now I have seen Nair on tv in the past before but when a good friend of mine was using it I was like “I am gonna go buy me some”. I had to leave the Nair on longer for my underarms and had to apply more since I didnt put it on thick enough the first time and while I put some on my armpits I accidentally got a bit of the product on skin where there was no hair and also left it on too long so I got a burn under my arm. I had to shave some small areas towards my ankles afterwards since I also missed some spots but other than that I love the product even for the first time that I got the burn. I would recommend anyone putting on Aloe vera after any burns you get from the Calcium Hydroxide ingredient in the Nair and also put some fragrance under your arms to put out the smell of the product. Please read directions like I did with this product.

Bought this as an alternative to shaving for my 13 year old daughter. I’ve never been a fan of allowing my daughter shave and have plucked, waxed and epilated her since she started middle school (which are all time consuming).
This was simple to use and magically wiped away all of her hair on her legs. We followed the directions, as they’re listed and she did not receive any type of chemical burns or discomfort from using it. Also, she has her father’s skin which is extremely dry and this actually moisturized her cracked skin on her legs.

Okay so when I first got this, I tried it on one spot on my leg just to see if it worked/if I would have a bad reaction to it. It was fine and the spot stayed pretty much hairless for the 1+ week I took before deciding to use the product for both my entire legs.
I will say, my legs were HAIRY. I’m part Indian soooo…. 🙃 It was a jungle. They we’re as hairy as my boyfriend’s hair.
I put on a fair layer for each leg and waited about 4min. I washed all the Nair off and although I could SEE hair had come off (there was hair in the bath tub) it really wasn’t much. So I figured I’d try again and leave it longer, like the directions said. 2nd time, WAAAYYYY more successful. It got most of it off.
Some Notes:
1. it smells kinda bad but to be honest, if you grew up perming your hair or have permed your hair? This is BASICALLY perm lol you can smell it as soon as it starts sitting on your leg. So ya, any precautions you would take with perm, apply it to this
2. Idk if it’ll get EVERY single hair, but it cleared out my jungle. YES there’s still some strays but I can easily run a razor over it and it’ll take like, 5min Max rather than 30min the way shaving alone did. So if you don’t mind doing a LITTLE bit I feel like that’s better than continuously putting perm on your leg.
3. It dries out your skin SUPER fast, so as soon as you can, moisturize your skin. Especially since just like shaving, it can leave your skin itchy afterwards.
4. I DID notice 3 kinda pimples? I think they were irritation bumps but it would’ve been way worse with a razor. Plus after 10min of noticing they went down 🤷🏿♀️
If anything, I’d probably use this for a fix up. If you barely have any hair then a razors probably better, but my hair grows back fast and long and I don’t have a whole lot of time to shave so I’ll probably use this now and then. Part of me thinks that’s what it’s for anyways.

in addition to sensitive skin. I hadn’t shaved my legs in a few months so I realized shaving wasn’t going to cut it and I would need hair remover. This product literally removed all my hair within 5min and left my legs silky smooth with no irritation; I was super impressed. I highly suggest wearing gloves though because I noticed it made my long nails really flimsy/weak after applying the Nair.
