Great product. Not super harsh on the skin, but always use with extreme respect for the fact your using a chemical and at anytime even though you have done it a million times before this could be the time it burns you. Be especially careful where you put it. I used it on my frank and beans and the chocolate starfish and it was spicy but it was cool. I Literally timed 8 mins and immediately washed it off!! Also I heard you want to wait at least 2 hours before soaping your body down. I showered, got clean, and then about an hr after used it with no problems. Did start to feel hot on my the frank and beans and in the cheeks but washed it off GENTLY without rubbing my skin. Works great but be smart.
P.s if it begins to burn just wash it off immediately!!! periot!!!!!!!

Don’t get me wrong, this smells better than the original formula, but it’s still a terrible chemical smell that bothers everyone in the house. The product itself works very well, lasts about 1.5 weeks for me, and leaves no irritation or rash. I will continue to buy!

After reading other reviews I went back a day later and repeated the process. This time I left it on for 12 min before I took a shower and rinsed it off immediately once in the shower. It did work, for me it just needs much longer than the instructions. There were a few spots that didn’t get taken care of but that happens. Also, if you are tall the bottle likely will last a couple applications so you can coat everything as needed. It does leave the legs smoother than a razor. Overall I think it’s ok, but you do have to find the right timeline for your hair type.

I followed the instructions exactly because I wanted it to work. I have thick hair and though this says it is meant for thick hair too it didn’t do anything. It’s an absolute waste of money and time. I even tried leaving it in for just a tiny bit longer than 10min hoping maybe it would help but no, nothing at all but occasional patches removed. Not worth it and I definitely felt the tingling on the skin 🙁

I have been a Nair user since their “who wears short shorts” days. This new formula has a much better smell. It also removes the hair with one application and without any burn to my chemical sensitive skin.

For a nair product it did in fact smell fine. The longer you left it on the more you would notice the sulfur smell, but it never became too strong or overbearing.
It did technically work. But there’s a catch. It only work efficiently on thin hairs (like arm and legs). In hindsight I should have expected that but I was disappointed when the first round didn’t remove ANY of my thick and stubborn hairs.
The second time I tried it I left it in wayy longer. I was very close to the 10 minute mark which the bottle said specifically not to go past. That was the only way I was able to get the thicker hair to be removed. It was still even patchy then.
By the time I was ready for my 3 round I realized there wasn’t much left in the bottle. Since you have to apply it on so thick you run out of product very very quickly.
Since it did technically worked in the end, I can’t say it’s a bad product. I think though for the future I’m going to try the original Nair cream and get it in a bigger bottle.
