Definitely worth getting, installation was straight forward and the amount of sounds/instruments included is amazing! I would highly recommend getting an external hard-drive (7200 RPM minimum) to install the sound libraries to, since the space that is needed is quite substantial. I got a 1TB Glyph Studio to go along with this and it works flawlessly.

Buyer Beware! This particular bundle provides software that only works completely with their own (or partners) libraries and instruments. 3rd party instruments require a different version (google Kontakt 5 vs Kontact 5 player) to run in non-demo mode. There are several free Kontakt instruments, but they will NOT work with the Kontakt 5 player that comes with this package. The $599 and $1199 packages will provide the correct Kontakt application, though only the $1199 package has the orchestral libraries I was looking for. Returned this package and am going with someone else.

I’m new to Native Instruments (and the whole world of virtual instruments in general), but haven’t experienced the sorts of problems mentioned in other reviews here. I had a small issue initially when installing (N.I. said I didn’t have enough space on my hard drive to download, even though I had more than enough space), and while Native Instruments online customer support was very bad, I read a comment online saying their phone support is very helpful – so I gave them a call and sure enough had the situation sorted out within a few minutes. The customer service representative was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
As for the product itself, I’m very impressed so far. There is so much included in Komplete 11 Ultimate that even if I spend the next few months experimenting daily with it, I get the feeling I won’t have even scratched the surface of everything included – which of course is a good thing!
I took one star off because of their poor online support, which should definitely not be a problem in this day and age, but other than that I’m completely satisfied so far.
Also, one thing I think I should mention is if you go through all the reviews here, all the good reviews are from verified purchases, whereas all the bad reviews are not verified purchases – not exactly sure what to make of that, but it seems a little fishy…
I’ll update in 3-6 months when I have a lot more knowledge and experience working with the product.

Amazing product with amazing sounds. It will take me a long time to get through all of them! You need to have a decent CPU processor though, to run it smoothly (i.e., without regular audio process crashes that stop the playback of the project you’re working on).

Für den Preis Perfekt! Gemessen an den einzelnen Preisen für die Menge an virtuellen Instrumente und Effekten sehr gut. Ich habe lange gezögert und gewartet bis ich das bezahlen konnte. Aber auch nur ein Produkt aus Komplete zu kaufen, lohnt sich nicht. Lieber warten bis man das Produkt kaufen kann. Man wird nicht enttäuscht.

Si buscas librerias de calidad, este paquete es fundamental. Aunque no aparezcan todas las que deseas, pues echo de menos algunas librerias mejores, en su conjunto merece la pena.

It would seem any “software” company would have some form of customer support given so many things can go wrong in downloading, compatibility, lack of technical knowledge. But this company has none and there are constant issues with their products. DO NOT purchase this product unless you are technically advanced. I am somewhat ok around computers and can’t get any VST or sounds to work. Some plugins work with my Logic Pro. If I would have known prior to purchasing there is literally no way to get support of any kind, I would have not made the investment.

Very high quality collection of virtual instruments that will take you months of full time use to explore. If you can’t find or create your sound with the NI Komplete collection then it doesn’t exist.

Da ich noch passende VSTs für Fruity Loops benötigt habe, war diese Collection perfekt für mich da sie nicht nur Massive enthält sondern auch noch andere coole Programme für die Musikprokuktion.
Für Hobbymusiker und die die es werden wollen kann ich diese Collection von NI bedingungslos weiter empfehlen.

After reading some of the reviews here, I was also a little hesitant to plunk down $600 on this software suite but have to say, I’m thrilled with this purchase. I already own Massive and FM8 which I use almost daily, so I know NI makes some sweet VSTi’s but I’ve been really wanting Kontakt so I can use the Freddie Mercury Fazioli piano library. I was already going to buy Kontakt but for $200 more, I decided to look at Komplete (which includes Kontakt ) and when I saw the demos for Una Corda and Abbey Road Drums, I knew I had to have this. The icing on the cake for me was the fact NI allows you to transfer license for your products, so I was able to sell my copies of Massive and FM8 to my brother-in-law to cover the $200 difference !
Installation was smooth on my iMac, no issues and you can install the components individually as you need them. Registration is simple and doesn’t require horrible iLok software protection. The components themselves are very thoughtfully designed to give you full control over tweaking sounds, not to mention they sound fantastic. It’s going to take months if not years for me to explore everything in this package but right out of the box, I was adding new dimensions to my recordings and inspired by the range of fantastic tools at my fingertips.
In my studio, I have a huge investment in VST’s such as Sylenth, Synthmaster, Omnisphere and a whole slew of Waves plugins but NI nailed it when they named this Komplete. Definitely well worth every penny and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an inspiring software package.

Packed with plenty of plugins, synths, and sounds for a very wide variety of styles. This ships on a harddrive so there’s no constant disc swapping to install, though the drive is only used for installation, so you’ll still need disk space elsewhere to install the data to.
Someone else stated that this does not include the full version of Kontakt 5, but it does.
