The pedometer was purchased in early May 2024 and works well for tracking steps. It doesn’t require an app and attaches to any pants, skirt, leggings, or shorts to monitor movement. The one-push button is used to reset the device at night. I purchased the black band to insert the pedometer when riding my bike – it’s attached to the leg. It’s the perfect product to eliminate app tracking, recharge every few days, and add journaling steps/ sleep is great. I read a lot of reviews on the smart watches and people were claiming that only the pedometer feature worked, so I found this little gadget on line and wore it instead of getting a smart watch. I checked my steps and confirmed that it recorded them accurately. The problem is that it doesn’t stay on well. While the clasp makes a good grip, it flips off if you bend down. I think it may not be balanced well when hanging on your clothing, either at the waist or on the pocket. I once forgot I had it on and dropped it in the toilet! Yikes! It still worked after that, but that prompted me to order a relatively cheap smart watch, which measures my steps as well, has other functions, and stays on my body, plus I don’t have to take it off to see the numbers like I did this pedometer.
