Works well and i’m very happy with this product

Shame on Ninja as before I used this product, I called them to register it, as it came with a different model number, and for health reasons, I wanted to know before it was used so I could return it! They put me on hold for a good while, returned and said, oh, yes, it was all Stainless Steel! The cooking pot IS NOT made of Stainless Steel! You are cooking on aluminum with a regular non-stick coating! Also, an expert attested to this. The replacement pot, is sold as same, for all models! If you have an aluminum allergy, beware! Handles/parts may be SS, tested by a magnet, but not the most important part, the pot you are cooking in! Anyone that lifts the coated cooking pot, it is very light and scratches at the bottom with a few uses of placing in the main unit. The metal on the glass lid, is also aluminum. This is definitely not a cast iron coating, as even with silicone utensils only, it will scratch on the so called ‘cast iron’ coating, and bottom, just from setting it gently in the pot to cook. For people with certain allergies, this needs to be corrected, and hopefully, I will suffer no added problems as did not use for an extended period of time. For those with no allergies and can handle aluminum regular non-stick surfaces, you may be happy. However, the slow cook function does not work well, except on the high setting.

Super size let’s me make big batches. 1 to eat & one to freeze (only 2 of us now). Easy to use & fast clean up. Only draw back is a super short chord that hardly reaches the plug (needs to be another 6″ longer). Directions say to not use on an island plug or uner the cabinets but short chord makes it not possible to comply. If u r hoping for a gray pot this isn’t gray even though it says seaside gray, it is definitely blue, but loved the pot so didn’t return.

I wanted a 10 quart slow cooker and ordered a Hamilton Beach that promptly got returned as it was damaged everywhere and piss poor quality. When my return finally came, I ordered this one, a little smaller capacity than I wanted but does a lot more and I am impressed. I have cooked three separate meals in it and I bought it about a week ago. Everything came out perfectly it’s easy to clean. The outside does not get hot enough to worry about. This is Best Buy I have made in an appliance ever! I love it

I ordered this by accident. I put it in my cart and was reviewing it and the specs for the machine. I left it in the cart and later placed an order and it was there too. Meant to be. This has turned out to be the most versatile piece of kitchen equipment I have ever owned. It replaces 8 kitchen appliances. I love it. It hold a huge capacity of food. Cooks at all settings beautifully. Not just a crock pot, but it also excels better than any crock pot I have ever owned. Easy to use and versatile. I love to cook and am not afraid to experiment and create new dishes. Beef is so expensive, I am able to use cheaper cuts of meat and create tender, flavourable pot roasts, veggies and gravies all in one pot! Best purchase I have made this year – even if I ordered it by accident. Great value for the money and cleared my counters and cupboards of unnecessary equipment. If you have a student going off to university, this is the only piece of equipment they will need. Suitable for small kitchens and people just starting out on their own.

I expected a better product.

I spent a lot of time considering what type of “cooker” to purchase to replace my old stoneware slow cooker. I decided on this one. It is different from a traditional slow cooker in that it is lighter, it has a non stick lining and it has a bunch of additional features. So far I have only tried a couple of them but it works really well. Everything has turned out beautifully, it doesn’t get hot underneath the way my old one did, it holds A LOT and the pot also makes a lovely serving dish. After having it for a few months I can say that I highly recommend.

I am a Ninja fan and have quite a few of their appliances including the last 3 models of the multicooker. Since I bought this cooker directly from Ninja, it will not show as a verified purchase. What initially attracted me to the cooker was the cooking capacity, 8.5 quarts vs. 6.5 quarts. Previous models of the multicooker were only 6.5 quarts. I still have the MC702, which was the original, and the CS960, which included a number of preprogrammed recipes in addition to this model. I have loved all 3 models, but preferred the MC702 because it had 3 temperature levels of sauté while the others, including this one, have only 2 levels. I have learned to deal with this by switching between low and high sauté temperatures.
Although I use this cooker primarily for making casseroles in bulk that I freeze in dinner sized portions, I have also used it to cook entire meals with veggies and a small roast. I very much like having the ability to switch from one function to another. So, I can sauté and brown meats, onions, and garlic in my recipes and then switch to braise, bake, or low sauté before adding other ingredients. I also like that this multicooker heats from the bottom and sides which provides even cooking. Whereas, some cooker heat only from the bottom.
To sum this up, I prefer this cooker for larger recipes, and like the 6.5 quart CS960 for smaller recipes and the preprogrammed recipes that can be fun and easy. It would have been nice if the newer models didn’t reduce the sauté mode to 2 levels instead of the 3 levels of the MC702 which was really nice for making gravies. I would also like to mention that accessories from previous models also fit this cooker. The size difference is only in the greater height of this model.
I hope this review was helpful for you.
