Yes this product does have a funky smell but it’s a root, so it’s to be expected. It’s effective in inducing sleep and calming the body. Doesn’t give me weird burps or other adverse effects. Good value for money. Love that it is GMP certified.

When taking the recommended max dose of 2 pills it does seem to produce a slight calming effect. Overall achieves the desired effect before bed time. I use a tissue when handling these pills or the foul smell sticks to the fingers and hard to wash off.

臭いは、題名通り、『納豆の臭いが、1.5倍強くなった感じ』です。
毎日納豆食べるので、特に気になりません。臭いキツイですが。
【効果】
落ち着きます。仕事を集中した後、頭が、熱い？混乱している？感じになる事がありませんか？そういう時にこれを飲むと、15分程度で、ゆっくりと混乱、熱い感じが落ち着きます。そして、2時間以上はゆっくりと他の事に取り組めます。鬱の時に安定剤の弱い頓服薬を貰ってましたが、それに近いレベルです。
DMAEも飲んだ事ありますが、バレリアンの方が自分は落ち着けました。

I was suggested to add this supplement with another medication by my doctor to help me calm down to sleep. It works pretty well, though I get vivid dreams (sometimes nightmares, sometimes just weird as heck).
Valerian of all kinds absolutely stinks in my experience. This is a bit more noticeable than other brands, but it’s the same stank I expect just a touch stronger.
Taking it with a flavored drink helps; I like herbal tea at night and that does the trick!
I’ll keep buying from this supplier with no major complaints.

I use this for stressful social situations or general stress. I also use it for anxiety around sleep. It’s the most effective supplement I’ve tried without the side effects of melatonin. I’m sure it’s no where near as effective as high powered meds, but I do feel stress levels go down noticeabley. It does have a sleepiness effect, so once the stressful situation goes away, you may feel the urge to grab a nap. As far as taste, is smells and tastes like dirt. No way around it. But a small price to pay. Giving it a five star because I’m comparing it to other supplements and vitamins.

FIRST off, if you have a bad gag reflex, walk away. These smell HORRIBLE compared to different brands. If you burp easily, be ready for the smell/taste to come back up.
Otherwise this is a great price. But I think I will go back to the local store brand as it doesn’t stink.
