My cat was nervous because of the lid. I let her use it without the lid for 3 days for her to get used to it. Then i put the lid on. She uses it.
I love this box. It does what they claim it does. Just roll to side, slap the bottom once or twice and continue to slowly roll. U can hear the waste go in the shovel. Its so much cleaner than scooping.

Not as sturdy as they used to be. I had bought one years ago and loved it. This new one is good but has issues. The plastic wall cracked immediately I pulled on it; they’ve become much more flimsy. There’s no overhanging lip on the inside of the lid where it meets the pan, so if you’ve got wall-sprayers, urine can leak through to the outside. The locking tabs are always falling off, I don’t even put them back on any more. I like how tall it is and how it’s easy to clean with the curved sides. I don’t use the rocking feature and took out the tray, but it works great as a plain old litterbox.

Lettiera top!!! Hanno migliorto i materiali ed é veramente pratica, perché permette una pulizia della lettiera in pochi secondi.
Per essere precisi, la griglia può essere migliorata, perché le fessure risultano un po’ larghe per i detriti più piccoli che passano attraverso, quindi ogni tanto occorre aprirla e togliere i residui più piccoli con la paletta, ma per pulire più volte al giorno la lettiera e togliere il grosso é perfetta e molto comoda.

This is excellent. It is big (I bought a large) so not great for a small room but if you have the space it works really well. No more sifting about for little “gifts” in the litter. And to my amazement is completely odourless. My cat who is not familiar with litter trays has taken to it really well & the high step in stops the litter from being scattered about… I have not had the problem that some other people had with litter leaking out when you roll it – but I think they have modified the build & corrected the problem.

Full disclosure, I purchased one of these at one of those chain pet stores, not saying if it was “co” or “smart”…. I have an average sized cat with long fur and feathers. The first one I purchased was probably the smaller version, easy to assemble, easy to use BUT just too darned small for my sized cat…. maybe for a short haired cat, maybe, but for my longer haired bad boy (who is NOT a fatty), no, it just wasn’t a good fit, for a number of reasons.
I purchased this larger one thru Amazon, interestingly enough, ended up being the same price…. simple to assemble, clever design, really easy to use, clean, simple. It’s kind of vague with regards to what litter works best, which litters are better, so, here’s what I have found….
Researching on line, using the smaller box, I kept hearing about using “the best” cat litter…. It worked well for a few days, but then it started to smell of cat pee and cornflakes. I did “the roll” daily, and it kept the odor down, but, in the end, it was just too darned expensive and not that great. I tried “regular” clay litters…. some worked well, some didn’t…. the clumping litters worked well for locking away the urine, but, after a few days, there tended to be “that smell”. It could have been the smaller box held less litter, which it does, there is a “fill to” line, pay attention to that, the filtering process doesn’t work so well of you go over that line, you end up with “clean” litter filling up the “nugget drawer”.
So, I got the bigger box, the biggest they offer here on Amazon, which, overall, footprint wise, isn’t all that much bigger, but it is big enough to allow for more room for the wee beastie, and I decided to try the “blue crystals”, used these in the past, had pretty good results, and, I must say, I am happy with the results with this box. I use a full bag with the largest box, it sifts well on the roll, it settles back nicely on the roll back, minimal odors, next to none, a bit pricy, but overall, a better selection, just saying. Pretty pleased right now. Very pleased, actually.
Part II: Okay, been using the blue crystals, 8 lb bag goes for about $22. I have tried tye “fancy” versions of the crystals, the color changing pH crystals, just to see if those made a difference. I can get about two weeks on the crystals, no more than than. I am trying a clay based litter now which I used to be able to find but seemed to have vanished from the local store shelves, $7 for a 10 lb bag, and, to be honest, the old school stuff seems to be working best…. Not naming brands, but it’s the blue bag with the black and white kitty!
UPDATE: After several months, I (foolishly) decided to try another litter box brand. Yeah. I just bought another. Should have never tried the other. This is so easy.

I bought this 3 months ago for 2 adult cats. This is a really good solution. It’s basically an automatic box without moving parts which makes it simple and reliable. I wouldn’t recommend the chrome accented version because at its core this thing is cheaply made and that version is more expensive. But this version while cheaply made is cheap to buy so I’m pretty ok with that considering it does its job well (lots of reviews complain about its cheap construction but forget how cheap it is to buy, I don’t want a 400$ robot box…). This version is also big and holds a lot of litter meaning it only needs litter added once or twice a week and a good size cat has space to do its thing. We roll it once a day at night when that cats seem to use it less giving everything in there time to clump and be dry. It takes some common sense to use but none of my concerns about messiness inside played out. Nothing sticks after a slap or two and it actually works the first roll the majority of the time. It’s so easy even after months no one complains about doing it every day. The grate did pop out once but not on me so maybe user error. I may run a screw or 2 in it if it becomes a problem and it can leak a very little bit of litter while rolling, but cats track litter anyway so its not like its adding extra cleanup. Overall the cats life has improved a lot because there box stays way cleaner, and we save money on not replacing the litter weekly. With the litter we use the box will be paid for in saved litter is less than 5 months. It could be faster but we have done a full change monthly even though its still pretty fresh.

For the price, it is pretty great to have something that kinda works like the very spendy automatic ones. Some litter escapes if you have it too full and roll it but it is manageable.

C’est ma 2ème omega paw roll car j’ai 2 chats et je trouve très pratique… les jours où je n’ai pas le temps ou l’envie de mettre “le nez dedans”, je fais juste un aller-retour de roll et les chats ont une impression de propreté immédiate.
en revanche, ce n’est pas tout à fait le même moule ni la même marque que la première, pourtant j’ai cliqué sur “racheter ce produit”. Sachez qu’Amazon achète auprès de plusieurs fournisseurs. Heureusement la différence n’est pas genante.
