My cat is EXTREMELY skittish and I was able to give her a haircut several times now. There’s a nice variety of clips and the scissors are extremely sharp and good quality. The clippers are fairly quiet. I turned them on at a distance, and then walked towards her as to not make her jump, she tolerated the haircut much better than I expected and it was less traumatic for her than going to a groomer. I have not needed to charge the clippers as of yet because the charge lasts a long time. My only complaint is the position of the power button. The way I hold the clippers my thumb seems to hit it every time so as I’m clipping her I accidentally shut it off. That is one little design flaw.

My husband thought it was just as noisy as our regular corded one until he tried both at the same time. It’s substantially quieter, smaller and the vibration isn’t as harsh. Our senior kitty who has never been “groomed” before put up with it ok with a churru as a distraction. We were able to shave the back half of her in one go and her tummy a few days later. It’s a bit of a learning curve but it seems next to impossible to injure the cat with this shaver and it did cut through her super soft undercoat, although not with any of the spacer things. So it was all off or nothing. I would have liked to leave her a bit of fuzz, but it’s better than the mats we couldn’t seem to get under control.

These clippers went through my Ragdolls matted/pelted fur fairly easily with no nics BUT will need frequent breaks, or a second set of clippers, as the clippers get too hot after 15 minutes of use. Holds a charge well, the sound is doable and my cat tolerated the clippers.

Our Ragdoll cat is 17 years old. He’s always been very set in his ways. He’s never had mats and used to like being brushed. Not anymore. Now he has lots of mats and won’t let me brush him. Tried one trimmer and he took off when I turned it on. This trimmer works great. It’s very low noise and doesn’t vibrate. It’s very safe to use and you don’t have to worry about accidentally hurting or cutting your kitty. Now he lets me shave his mats off. I can only do a little at a time but that’s okay. It’s easy to use and you have to be patient. I highly recommend this trimmer.

Works fine on a cat that is used to being brushed, it’s very quiet. My moms cat tolerated it with minimal protests, but he loves to be brushed. But my neices cat, hell no. Murder mittens out, fights like we’re trying to feed him to a grizzly bear when that trimmer touches him. The metal comb that comes with the trimmer is great, both cats tolerated that pretty good. Its great for getting underneath to where you can trim with nice quiet scissors.

I was not expecting such an amazing razor/trimmer for $35. Came with multiple guards, scissors, and a metal comb. Completely professional grade. It glides like butter and is quiet. My “spicy” cat wasn’t bothered by it at all. If you’re considering this product, go ahead and purchase it. You won’t be disappointed.

Our kitty had a couple nasty clumps of fur that would not un-clump and we got the clippers to shave them off so she’d be more comfortable. These are well made, quiet clippers that do their job flawlessly! Our fur baby didn’t complain once! As a cat dad who shaves his head regularly, I’ve had a lot of bad luck with hair clippers. I thought I’d try these on my hair and they are the best clippers I’ve ever used (better than clippers over twice their price). BUT THIS!! THIS THING IS AMAZING!! I’ve always used repurposed “people” clippers. The one I had blew apart yesterday, so I found myself here.
I have a 12yo ragdoll. LONG LONG HAIR, but silky. Luckily she has the temperament to allow me to shave her myself, since I don’t want to pay $100 to have her groomed. She’s pretty chill, but…
THIS WAS BY FAR THE EASIEST SHAVE EVER. It came fully charged but I left it on the charger for an hour to be sure. Took me about 50 min to shave her down to the lion cut. Pretty quiet (quieter than my Wahl for humans-) but it being cordless was clutch!! Shaved down to the velveteen SO easy. The battery still says 100%. She hates having her bottom shaved & I don’t think she really noticed where I was at bc it’s so gentle. Hardly have to press down for it to get underneath her coat. She hates “the boots with the fur,” but even that was easy. Cut through her 3” mane like butter. She had a few tiny mats, but it cut under them like nothing else.
The only things I didn’t love were:
1) I tried with the shortest guard (3mm) at first out of caution. Her hair kept getting stuck in it, so I took it off & just went for it. Not sure if it just needs to fit tighter or what but that didn’t work for me.
2) I’d rather they put the power/speed buttons on the other side. I kept accidentally turning it off as I was trying to manipulate her body. But that could just be me & the way I hold it.
Neither of those things would stop me from buying this. IT TURNED WHAT IS A HUGE HASSLE THAT I DREAD INTO AN EASY TASK!! So easy that I’ll maintain her summer ‘do, rather than waiting (ok avoiding) to do it when she’s fully grown out again.
As for Frankie, I think she’d give it 5 stars too. She usually piddles when she’s “over it” but not this time. Like I said, she’s chill, but this didn’t bother her at all! She was more upset being trapped in the bathroom than me shaving her. It didn’t nip her AT ALL & she looks like she had a professional cut.
BUY THIS. It might be harder with a coarse coat but for her long & silky coat, it’s purrrfect.

This is THE hair trimmer for your pet! It’s cordless, keeps a charge for a long time, and is relatively quiet. The extra items are a nice addition, but I have only used it without a guard. It did not once nick my pet’s skin or get stuck in his fluffy fur. The white marks in the photo are not from the trimmer, rather that’s where he has white fur.

Updated Review: I have been contacted by Costumer Service at Oneisall based on my poor review.. They apologized for my bad experience, refunded my purchase price and have offered to send me a replacement. They have a two year warranty on their product. Even if you can not return back to Amazon, you can return and get a replacement from oneisall. I have upgraded my rating from one to three stars. I will upgrade again once I receive the replacement and if I am satisfied with how it operates.
Original review: I purchased this for my Norwegian Forest Cat/Maine Coon mix kitty. His coat is so dense, he gets mats even with regular brushing. This trimmer did absolutely nothing. I trimmed the mat with the provided scissors and attempted to shave the rest off. It didn’t cut anything. The vibration is strong, it is NOT quiet and the blade just pulled his hair. It stressed him out in a terrible way. It’s too late to return it (my fault) and I won’t even give it away to anyone. I basically threw $40 in the trash.

* After writing this review, the company reached out to me to try to help me out. They sent me model YP-7268 to try. Well just let me tell you that these clippers blew away the heavy, corded $150 pair I bought. They are light weight, cordless and I could shear a sheep with them. I would definitely recommend this new pair. Plus the fact that the company went out of their way to help me out really impressed me. This did not work on our ragdoll cat’s fur. It pulled and wouldn’t cut through her soft fluffy fur. The cutting blade is plastic so it may work better on a different fur type. The unit itself seemed to be decent quality and came with great accessories. We ended up returning it since it didn’t work as described for us.
