It works very well, it takes away my fatigue for a long time during the day. the taste is good and if you wait a little after mixing with water it will dilute completely.

UPDATE 9/2: I’ve been asked what I take: As far as actual pre workout is concerned, this is my go 2! I think from a value standpoint, 2 scoops of this is a better deal than Pre-Jym. I haven’t been using any of those lately because I’ve found a BEASTLY combination.
I take the stim free; Ronnie Coleman Signature Series Testogen-XR and combine it with two capsules of Modern Man, Testosterone Boosting Thermogenic Fat Burner Designed for Increasing Lean Muscle and Accelerating Fat Loss while Enhancing Focus (Get in the Zone) and Reducing Stress, Scientifically Advanced Ingredients Promote the Ideal Male Physique, 60 Capsules and it’s just a crazy combo. The modern man caps are strong and give you a wicked boost but the combination of the two enhances strength like crazy. I’d recommend giving that a try.
Following the “Pre-Jym” trend, ON released their Gold Standard Pre. It seems like they really worked within an affordable budget and created a great product for the value.
This stuff is definitely worth 25 dollars, so they get an A+ for value. The open label is great as well and I feel safe sharing it with some of my clients. It’s a really solid product that gives you what you need for a strong workout.
That being said, I wish optimum did a bit more. Obviously I don’t blame them, because this was a home run product and it’s very effective, but it leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of ingredient profile. It doesn’t stack up with the “top” pre workouts, although it is definitely a notch above the C4’s of the world. I also wish they went with Natural flavoring (I know… It would’ve costed more). I don’t like seeing sucralose in any product I take when I’m trying to improve my health, it just doesn’t make sense. That being said it does taste good.
It’s a great product for the average user. Safe and solid doses of ingredients proven to be effective. I took two scoops and got a great workout, so it definitely could work for all people. Personally I wish they went with natural flavoring and maybe added some betaine but overall it’s a tremendous product and at a very fare price.

I’ve been through a lot of pre workouts over the years. Chasing that orginal jacked 3d feeling only to come up short everytime. I recently discovered this pre workout which is surprising since I’ve been drinking their whey protein for the last 15 years, never once thought to give their pre workout a try.
I truly have been missing out on something great. This pre workout is amazing, tasting great and very easy to consume. (Watermelon candy) is my favorite. The actual experience itself is very clean very easy on the body. There’s no crazy rush, no itch on the face ears or arms. None of the shakes. It’s not gonna give you that tunnel vision crazy amped up intensity, with a massive crash.
But what it will give you is energy and that extra bit of gas in the tank. It will help you push through that fatigue and get the extra reps and stretch your workouts out longer.
