Works great. No special effort to set it up. All I needed to do was hook it up per the quick start guide, manually load our directory entries, and push the ANSWER ON/OFF button. However, this unit can do a lot of stuff as you can tell in the product description. The user manual is 115 pages long to cover all the features. One thing I did do, as I have with previous cordless phones, is to replace the 300 mah batteries in the handsets with 1100 mah batteries. Those higher capacity batteries are available from Amazon for about $8 for a set of 8. That easily triples time between charges.

I AM THE FIRE –
This set of phones is the worst I’ve ever had. They do not work properly-sometimes they will, sometimes they won’t. I purchased the protection plan and it’s been such a runaround to try to get help. These phones were purchased for my 93 year old father who lives alone so they need to work in case of an emergency. Half the time you can’t answer the phone, a message will come up ‘no link’ or ‘place on base to supply power’ when the phone has been charging all night or other various messages that will prevent you from answering or making a call. We found out if you press the of button then the on button a few times in a row that you can use the phone. Well, if God forbid, there is an emergency I don’t want to have to play games to get a call out. Trying to get in touch with someone who can actually help is ridiculous, on chat an agent said Panasonic will repair the phones but they have to be sent in. First of all, I don’t want this set because they are faulty and I don’t have faith in them but that is my only option. Ok, then what do I do in the meantime while they are being ‘fixed’? I asked to speak to a manager and the agent couldn’t do that either, he said to start another chat if I wanted to speak to someone else. Unbelievable. I asked for a telephone number to speak with someone and the number provided was not in service. I repeatedly asked for him to check the number which he didn’t, saying this is the only number. Do not buy these phones. I want a refund. I would not recommend Panasonic at all based on this experience and the vast amount of time it is taking to get a resolution.

The product is easy to set up & functions as it should. The features are basic enough so my 85 year old mother can use it, but if someone wanted more advanced features like blue tooth or call forwarding, the system can do that as well.

We wanted a land line system, since the previous one we recently bought was pretty bad (not Panasonic, not A&T). I researched many systems online at several sources, and this system seemed like the best choice based on value and cost. The box was well packaged, and was delivered fairly quickly. The screen is very readable, and also has audible ID calling. Also has a “call block” button, as well as an answering system. Very easy to set up. Cell phone sync is included, as is speaker phone. Sound quality was much better than the earlier system we bought. The only complaint is that the description calls for 8 AA batteries. In reality, this needs 8 AAA rechargeable batteries (that were included). All-in-all, a very nice system with a ton of features.

Este producto es excelente. Tiene 3 extensiones adicionales y el Bluetooth para dos celulares. Tiene buen alcance y su onido es nitido. Configurable para español. Lo inico es no tengo manera configurar la lada para mexico que no me afecta del todo pero desearia se pudiera configurar manualmente. Reemplaza a otro panasonic no por falla sino por actualización. Si reemplaza a otros vtech que fallaron en 3 años (falla comun en estos equipos). Recomiendo siempre comprar panasonic nuevos no reacondicionados.

We’ve always had Panasonic phones. These are ok, but I’ve noticed they aren’t quite as nice as our previous models. Biggest issue so far is the batteries….they don’t last very long. Now realize why there’s 4 phones! I’m going to try and pay attention to exactly how long they are lasting, and maybe contact Amazon or Panasonic about it. I’ll add more to the review.

They work well in our house. The clarity is very good and I like the extra large display. As for the Bluetooth connection, I have not used it. I don’t use the answering machine as I have one with the phone company and it sends me an email when a message comes in. I have had Panasonic before and they were good as well. So these seem to be living up to my expectations.
