I have used Stans sealant for years with their branded injector that threads onto the valve. Their crappy plastic fitting and rubber hose on their injector still makes just as big of a mess as this, maybe more, and is way harder to screw on rather than just stick this needle in the valve. It doesn’t go through mine clear past the rim as depicted, but either way it gets in just fine with less fuss. Also, this draws way better and it is easier to pull with the finger pulls. Less air to pump out and quicker to operate and even more importantly, quicker to clean with a bowl of soapy water. Disassembly and drying is a snap and the metal fittings are much appreciated. The sticker with oz markings is a bit hokey, but if it fails there are still ml markings on the clear plastic. They included more seals between body and metal fittings, but only one plastic injector needle. Hopefully it holds up, if not I’ll order a pile of them hopefully. Either way, it is saving time and mess over the Stans injector solution. It packs up just fine in a zip lock bag with all of it’s parts. Just get it, you won’t regret it.

Some valves are a little narrow for the tube, but this keeps you from having to break the tire bead off the rim and also allows you to check current level of sealant. Great quality tool

Love it, but supplied with only one “straw.” This is a proprietary straw and it would be nice if the kit included a back-up. One of my Stan’s valves was blocked with what turned out to be rubber from the valve seat. This cause me to push the straw to forcefully, resulting in a kink.

Follow instructions I had no issue using this with Stan’s tire sealant and it held pressure immediately after filling. My instructions: Remove valve core let air out of tire, suck up 2.5-3 on syringe insert plastic needles in valve core spot carefull not to push to meet inside of tire, push syringe to empty it. Under new valve core, rotate tyre up with valve core at top of tyre fill Tyre to 5 lbs over max inflation spin tyre on bike rapidly and shake. You are done! Works great one step I did not mention after removing valve core make sure valve core is facing top of tire to prevent any left over sealant In tyre won’t spray at u when air is releasing! Turn core to bottom of tyre when all air is removed and use suction to pump to suck old sealant out if their is any and let tyre sit with valve core down for about 2-3 min to make sure all old sealant is at bottom of tire so it can all be removed then proceed with new sealant! Your all done sturdy tool I might add also. Worth the buy just wish it came with extra plastic needle wash with soapy water inside and out of the jump when finished to to get out all old gunk and sealant from pump!!

Game changer for adding sealant or removing sealant prior to changing a tire. Very well thought out and should last a long time if you clean it after each use. I would highly recommend this product.

  10. T. Godfrey

The product pictures make this injector look plastic and cheap, but this is solidly built. Injecting sealant isn’t rocket science, so this isn’t exactly a “must have” item but it helps prevent messes and is absolutely airtight.
