Waterproof and mounting feature is best! The daylight and nightlight with its scheduling feature is great. Range of light color options are great. Excellent quality, performance and value for money.

I was concerned it would be hard to program, but it was not. I love the way it lights up my tank and brightness my fish. I also love the way it dims slowly at night and slowly lights up in the morning. Not that my fish even know what a sun rise or sun set is, I still think it is very cool.
It was easy to install, I used the Velcro stickers. They are holding well so far.
You should know, if you loose power any programming done will be lost and need to be re entered. Including the time of day. It uses 24 hour clock (military time) not AM and PM .
The remote is attached to the cord, so will not be misplaced or lost in that place you will not loose it.
It was a little small for my 35 gallon tank, but still works very well.

I am using this for my 35 gallon tank. I have it attached to the lid with the suction cups. I like the programmability of the lights and that it goes through a simulated day and night theme not just on and bright. The suction cups are ok. Occasionally one comes off but since it is submersible I don’t have to worry. This is replacing a different light that died due to condensation ruining the light.

The brightness and settings are excellent to use… I have a 17 1/2 inch tank cover and it sticks to it with ease, only the suctions came with the light though so if you need more adhesive, you’ll need command strips.

Less than a week of use later, doesn’t work and full of water. Fortunately I have no lost.

It’s so dark, dim lights in my aquarium even though the lights are bright to look at outside the aquarium. The lights really affected my eyes when I tried this for the first time. I hope there’s no damage to my eyes because of this. I have thrown it in the garbage. I wish the truth was in the reviews but it never is.

Ok so I’ve had this for almost a month
I like the light allot as it’s way less bright than the one I had which was awful
I’ve experimented with allot of the settings
Like others I wish a bit more choices but I have gone back to the 24 hour setting because it has the day to night changes
Complaint-why would you have have time set timer connected to the light hood should be able to unhook when cleaning tank and not have to reset the time and setting – design flaw in my opinion
But I will buy the smaller model for my smaller tank
