I have a Cane Corso/Kangal mix that was shedding a TON and had dry, scabby (sometimes oozing) spots on the insides of his legs and on his belly. We are almost two weeks in using the fish oil and what a difference!!! His coat is very shiny, the scabby, dry spots are going away and there has been a SIGNIFICANT reduction in shedding. I only wish that I had tried this sooner.

Started using this after trying Omega 3 chews and not seeing any difference. After a few weeks of using Pet Honesty’s Salmon Oi, I’ve seen significant improvement in the quality of my dog’s coat. He’s mostly shorthaired with feathered ears and tail and slightly longer hair along his spine. He’s a rescue/used to be a stray before he came to live with us and the hair along his spine was looking really dry and dull. We are now on our second bottle, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve seen (a fuller, shinier, and no longer dry coat).
Yes, the cap is a bit of a nuisance, and the smell is somewhat strong (my dog was a little skeptical at first but got used to it after a couple of days).

Despite advertising it comes with a pump and to use a pump to measure for your dog, there is no pump. The company expects me to use my good teaspoon from my measuring set and were all happy about it! Why not include one? I get scoops with so many things and none are a teaspoon, not that I can pour oil that well, my hands are shaky and the last thing I want everywhere is stinky fish oil, and my dog can’t have a bit extra b/c my hands shook too much.
Also, this arrived leaking and the seal was broke. I chatted with the company who asked for some information and then went silent. Pet Honesty used to be the brand I recommended to everyone but never again, they went downhill and this past bit of conversation was my last straw (as I don’t have a pump still). Tossed in the trash.

All 5 of my dogs LOVE the flavor of this. I put a little on their food every day. You get a lot for the amount of money you pay and it goes a long ways. It’s super thick and concentrated so you don’t use much of this product. I didn’t give it 5 stars for one reason. The cap that it comes with is kind of a pain. It’s such a large bottle, and comes with a flip tip cap. When you use it, some of the oil drips down the side of the cap. You do have to clean it off or you will have stinky fish oil not only on the side of the bottle, but eventually on your hand. No one wants that. I did get around this by also purchasing a cheap glass olive oil drizzle bottle off Amazon. For the price, the amount you get, and the quality of this product, I will be purchasing this again. It does smell quite pungent, but having said that, it’s supposed to. If you get a salmon oil that doesn’t, you don’t have a good quality oil for your pets. This is a great product.
