I bought similar balls from another store at $1/each and my cat destroyed them in seconds. THESE are so durable and have yet to leave shreds across my home despite how rough my cat is with toys. I will definitely repurchase.

I love to buy my 10-year-old cat new toys to see if she will finally play with something other than her tail, wrapping paper, and my hair elastics. Unfortunately, she seems to prefer things that aren’t meant for her but I still try anyway. My mom recently got a new cat who is five years old so I decided to buy some of these balls and split them between the cats. I bought the 12-count crinkle balls and we got four purple and green balls, four red and gold, and four green and gold. They measure approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter and are made of mylar, so it feels like crinkly plastic. I noticed a number of reviewers said these balls bleed when they come in contact with water so I tested them and mine bled a little bit of color. My cat typically doesn’t bring toys near her water bowl so I’m not overly concerned.
When I first gave my cat her portion of the balls, she sniffed at them, batted one of them for a little bit, and quickly lost interest. My mom’s cat, on the other hand, has shown a lot more interest in these and bats and chases them around. My cat still often acts like a kitten but my guess is she knows I spent money on buying her new toys and she ignores them just to spite me. In any case, I am still glad I bought them and I can tell when she has played with one because it will be in a different place than where I last saw it. Of course this only happens when no one is watching her.
Overall, I think these crinkle balls are a great toy for cats and I’m happy I bought them even though my cat hasn’t shown much interest in them. Since my mom’s cat loves them, I will still call these toys a winner and think they are a good price for the number of balls in the package. I definitely recommend them since most normal cats go crazy with crinkle balls so yours will probably enjoy them!

Out cat has always ignored the toys we buy him or try to entice him with, and his favorite game has always been stalking a crumpled up receipt when we’ve thrown it for him. We left town for a week and wanted him to have some entertainment he would actually play with, so I bought this bunch of mylar balls. They’re larger than his normal receipt “toys” at about 2-inches across, which means that they were less likely to go under the couch or stove when he knocked the around. I hid a couple around the house and put the rest in the living room, and he was playing with them before I even made it out the door. After our return all of the hidden balls were no longer hidden and he was a very content kitty.
They were packaged in a simple, resealable plastic bag and hardly took up much space even though it was a pack of 12. They’re crinkly but not stiff, so the cat was still comfortable picking them up with his mouth when necessary. They’re also durable, as I haven’t found any damage on any of them yet, so if they eventually do break down I’ll be ordering another pack.
