This is not money well spent, if they constructed it a bit better. With not straps and a stronger frame it might work.
But my dogs have put their paws up on it and realised they can just jump over it as it just bends down.

Use this in our camper at night to stop the dogs joining us in bed at 2am. Very lightweight, pops up and ready to use in seconds. We just wedge it behind a seat to keep it in place. If they really wanted to, the dogs could push their way past it and it wouldn’t stand up to scratching or chewing. But if your dog respects visual barriers then it works well. Been a great solution for us. Very pleased.

Easy to use and works well. Not sturdy enough for a dog that use claws or bullies their way through things, but enough of a barrier to keep my two Aussies in the back instead of licking my face while I drive! Just bought a 2nd one for our other vehicle. Something to note, I’m short, so one front seat in the car is always way up compared to the other. This does make the screen sit odd, but hasn’t affected its function at all. In one car, I also have a dog “hammock”, which took some finagling to get the straps of both items around the headrest posts, but it’s worked okay.

I bought this product when I got my new dog, a 3-year-old German Shepherd. She is a rescue dog so I do not know her background but what was obvious on the way home from the shelter was that she hadn’t been on many car rides. I have a small SUV and no matter what I did, I could not get her to remain in the back seat. Fearing her safety as well as mine, and not wanting to leave her at home all the time or take her to a kennel when we go to the lake, I purchased this item.
The good…It does keep Kenzie in the back seat, most of the time. It is mesh so I can still interact with her as we travel. The barrier is decent-looking. If needed, the barrier can remain installed when not in use.
The not-so-good…The barrier is a little flimsy. I think a larger or more-determined dog could knock it right out of place. I’ve been working with Kenzie and taking her for many car rides so she’s a bit less excited when we go places. While the barrier is mesh, it does slightly obstruct the view from the rearview mirror. Someone with a smaller dog might be able to position it a bit lower to solve that problem. Kenzie is still able to stick her entire upper body along the side of the seats and the doors. While this barrier isn’t designed to address that issue at all, having a barrier in one place means she does try to get a better view from another place. The barrier is slighly annoying to install and take out. The metal stability rod that runs vertically from top to bottom is very flimsy and would not likely restrain a large dog who really wanted to get in the front seat. The annoying part of installation relates to a seat cover I have to protect leather seats. It attaches in the same place. It’s not a big deal and I expected to deal with it, but it is something to plan around when going somewhere. Without the seat protector issue, installation could be done in less than 5 minutes and would likely be no hassle at all. While this item does keep Kenzie in the back, I once left her in the car when I ran an errand and when I returned, she was proudly sitting in the front seat. The barrier was still intact so I figure she just slipped through the side of the seat and the door.
I would purchase the item again. I think having the barrier has allowed Kenzie the chance to get used to staying in the back seat. In a way, it has acted as a training tool. I went for about 3 months without any sort of barrier and once I got this, it made me aware of just how stressful traveling with Kenzie was before. I take her more places and feel comfortable that she’s not going to bolt out the door and into traffic when I get out. Happy travels.

I have a 20lb cavachon who likes to ride in the car in my lap. I was feeling like maybe that wasnt the safest way to travel. So, I tried to get her to stay in her bed in the back of the car. I wasnt having consitant luck with that. I realize that was mostly my problem as I was not consistant. Sometimes, I’d let her up on my lap and sometimes I wouldnt. So, I decided we needed to be safe which meant she couldnt ride on my lap. I ordered this seat net. It is AWSOME! Very easy to install – about 5 min total. It fits my car very well (Subaru Outback) and does just what it says it does. She can not get through or around it and it keeps her in the back. However, she is less than thrilled about it. Our first trip, about 30 min long, she whimpered and cried he entire time. I stayed strong and kept her in the back. Second trip – a little less crying. I figure that eventually she will adjust and will right without any crying. I do feel that it is much safer. My attention is on the road and I am not disctracted by her moving in my lap. I would totally recommend this to any pet owner. It gets 2 thumbs up from me!!!
Update: We have had this now for about a month. My dog is now used to being in the back. She sits in her bed and watches the world go by or plays with her ball. She has adjusted and now hops happily into the back seat. She just loves to be able to ride along!!! I highly suggest this to any pet owner. Wonderful product!

天井までガードでき、簡単に設置できるバリアは中々ないので重宝しています。

Two pesky critters that always wanted to get in the front seat. They now sit at the back with their noses pressed up against it 🙂

We have a dog that loves to try to climb over to the front which is dangerous when driving. So after numerous searching, I came across this as it was similar to my idea of what might work for us. Despite the reviews, I figured it would perhaps work for us even if it didn’t for others. In this case, sometimes it’s good to go with reviews. CONS: It arrived with damaged screen which seems like it was due to Velcro coming in contact with the net. As for stability I doubt this would have lasted. It’s super flimsy that I guarantee my dog would have broke through the net as the netting is super thin. I could pretty much break through with my finger if I tried. VERY difficult to fold back to put away. PROS: Assembling looked easy to attach to head rest. The size seemed decent for an SUV. Unfortunately had to return it.
