This is such a great little scooter! My 16 month old grandson was born early and is a little bit delayed, especially when it comes to walking. I put this scooter together, sat him on it, and by the next day he was motoring all over the house like a pro. A day after that and he’s taking a dozen steps on his own. What makes it great is that it’s impossible to tip over, all the wheels swivel, and it’s easy for the littles to climb onto and off of. The design is amazing, and I wish I’d known about it sooner!

First of all , this is high quality , no doubt . I bought this for my 10 month old granddaughter , hoping it would help her walk, help with her balance . But she is too young still for this . The principle is that the child can push it from the back and it would keep them more stable while learning to walk , and the angle of the back is suppose to help with the fall , which would be directly onto their bottom . As they get bigger, the baby can use it as a push bike , we didn’t get to try that out because she would have fallen off immediately if she wasn’t being held . The good news is that she screamed when we took her off the bike once we realized she couldn’t balance enough to stay on it . So she does love it ! We had to hide it immediately because she wanted to ride it so bad .
I would but again? But the appropriate age should say “if the child can balance on the seat “ or “when the child is almost walking without assistance “. All in all , it will be a great toy for a few years at least .

This made our one year old mobile while big sis and big bro rode their plasma cars. She had so much fun, no toe injuries, via the design and 360 degree rotation. I highly recommend this toy for those that can’t yet peddle and don’t quite have balance skills.

This thing is awesome! I got it a couple of months ago at the point where my daughter can “walk” while holding my hand, but she wasn’t confident enough to even try walking on her own (so she always got back down on her knees to crawl somewhere, and then stand up again once she got to where she wanted to go even though it’s no more than a couple feet in distance). We have one of those push walkers, but the wheels always slid too fast away from her and so she could never push one of those on her own. It took her 5 minutes to be comfortable on the Ybike the very first time I put her on it, and then after that she was literally rolling all over the house on her own!

The design is amazing. The body is slender in the middle, so that when my daughter is straddled and walking, it doesn’t require her to open her natural stance too much. The tail of the body widens so that she doesn’t slip out the back end. The height is perfectly low enough to encourage her to stand and walk instead of sit and paddle, but she can sit on it when she’s tired. The wheels are 360 spinner style and rollerblade quality, which makes the Ybike very easily maneuverable in every direction (and doesn’t require me to drop whatever I’m doing to go and get her unstuck or turned around). It’s small and compact compared to the traditional walkers on the market (we live in the city and don’t have much space), and totally works even in small spaces.

My only very minor complaint is that the color of the product featured in this picture is all wrong. The description says pink, but the picture looks like it’s got more of a purplish hue. It’s totally pink…think bubble gum pink.

Bought this for the 9 month grandchild but haven’t tried it yet thus the 4 star rating now.
Will update after using this bike.
It’s was a quick put together with instructions that were accurate and easy to understand.
The bike is well made and the toy glides easily over hard surfaces and carpeting.
I think it will be an indoor toy for now.

    TL;DR

Small packaging – easy to wrap for a gift
Pretty easy assembly – comes with all of the stuff needed
Sturdy bike – wheels don’t leave marks of my hardwood floors
The thing really moves and might cause an unsteady stander to fall

    Full Review

I bought this bike for my 11 month old son because I read about it in an article on Fatherly.com. We have hardwood floors, so I was looking for something he can push around and/or ride without leaving marks everywhere. My parents bought him this little plastic airplane with wheels that he really likes to push around, but the plastic wheels leave marks EVERYWHERE (https://www.amazon.com/Evaxo-Lights-Sounds-Lightyear-Activity/dp/B0821MPB9X/ref=sr_1_19?crid=33SGTIARQZ055&dchild=1&keywords=buzz+lightyear+ride+on&qid=1585687547&s=toys-and-games&sprefix=buzz+li%2Ctoys-and-games%2C203&sr=1-19). I like that it arrived in a pretty small box, so it is something that would be easy to wrap and gift if that was something you’re looking to do. Assembly was pretty easy – it took me about 20 minutes to put together while my son was crawling all over me. It came with all of the tools needed for assembly, so that was nice. Now that it is assembled, it seems quite sturdy. It’s light enough that my son can tip it over and “man handle” it, but it doesn’t have any sharp edges. The wheels are the best part of this thing – they twist and turn like wheels on an office chair, but the rubber does not mark up my floors. On a slick surface, the bike moves fast, so if your child cannot stand easily on his or her own, it is possible that it would cause them to fall over forward. Overall this is a nice little bike and I am happy with my purchase.
