My kids don’t love to brush, and don’t often do a g9od job without me standing there the whole time. This has helped a lot. It’s fun at first. But even once they get over the fun, the vibration boosts their brushing ability and has helped with gum health. Soft feel and much less expensive than other options.

I ordered a kids sonic brush because it is much less expensive than an adult one. (the sticker on the front of brush is elective… add it if you want to…). It is perfect! the brush is about 1 inch…. same size as my adult one was. Works great! I highly recommend.

Our adult sonicares break all the time and hardly last year. But the kid version seem to last a bit longer. We replaced one because it wouldn’t turn off and the other one just because it was gross and needed to be replaced!

Our dentists suggested this for my kids who have a hard time brushing their teeth (because they’re kids lol). It comes with a sticker sheet they can choose their design. There is a short and long setting. It will do a quick jingle every 30 seconds to let them know to move to the next part. Cleans easily.

Our 7-year-olds are using these. We wanted them to get a better clean than with a manual toothbrush, and it’s achieving that. But all the bells and whistles have been a letdown.
The video in the app lets them follow along and paces them to get all the surfaces. The kids love earning in-app prizes (accessorizing their avatar) every time they brush. However…
The Android app is buggy: it loses some earned items, much to my kids’ dismay, and frequently loads the wrong profile. And the profiles are local, so you have to use the same mobile device every time, with no sharing across Mom and Dad’s phones, and no moving from one phone to another without resetting progress. We’ve had to repurpose an old phone just for this.
I was mistaken that the app would track how well they are brushing, i.e. what surfaces they are missing. It does not; it only tracks whether they have brushed at all, on which days. All the Bluetooth really gets you is awareness of whether the toothbrush is currently on or off, so the timer can be started or stopped automatically. It also can only manage this for one toothbrush at a time, even with multiple stored profiles, which has made our routine for multiple kids less efficient.
On a completely different note, the stickers don’t stick reliably, so don’t expect to use them to differentiate whose toothbrush is whose. Thank goodness we have separate outlets at opposite ends of our bathroom counter to avoid mixups.
In all, while I love Sonicare for our whole family, I wish we had never installed the app. We’ll go back to using TruthBrush for all the “smart” features; at least it can be mounted on this toothbrush.

The toothbrush arrived with this charger, which I have never seen before, no explanation of how to charge it in the UK either. Left me wondering whether it needs an adaptor to be able to use it, no clear instructions of further charging. For this reason alone will be sending it back.
