This head unit is great for the price. Very well worth the money. I would give it a 5 star but the video quality for MP4 is very low. DVD does show very good though. Radio reception is good. Audio controls are great with separate built in cross-over for fnt, rr, and sub which is great! Bluetooth can handle two phones at once.

Item display won’t work, CD stock in stereo and won’t refund unless I return the item, the item was bought while on vacation now I’m back home to do a return will cost me more than the actual cost of the item. Now I’m stock with a defective item. DON’T BUY FROM THIS SELLER. POOR DISSATISFIED MAN

The installation was a bit difficult in my car because of the factory installed amplifier.
You do need a additional wire connector for that…. My car used a Metra 70-5519 amp in adapter for Mustang 460 premium sound system. Without it there is no bass / sub woofer sound.
No one seems to make it clear which wires to use….. Tie both blue/white wires to amp in blue wire. And both black wires to main Black ground wire.
To have all functions available you also need the parking break bypass… some functions don’t work without it.
Once all the obstacles are overcome…. Great sounding and functioning unit for the price.

Its been working flawlessly so far , the features are exelent ,crossover for all speakers , EQ, etc , very satified with this , it opens fast on start up too, the screen does not require 200 pounds of force to react like other brands , go for it .

Bought this to upgrade my 2016 hyundai accent for my winter car. This is excellent upgrade, the bluetooth syncs up right away. Rear usb simple plug and play, and put it in my glove box. Bluetooth mic I installed and placed it in front of guage cluster. Sound is stronger, and the EQ makes it for a much better sound. Will be upgrading speakers and adding amp and sub with use of this deck.
Also the company I bought it from had it shipped faster then estimated. Excellent purchase experience!!

Great radio lots of features. The one thing I can’t do is on the map, is zoom out to like 2 or 5 km like already in vehicles when you buy them.

This is definitely a really good bang for buck product. It doesn’t have a ton of features, but it’s also priced accordingly. It works perfectly for me, all I wanted was a head unit that had bluetooth, backup camera, hands free calling, and a subwoofer output. This head unit is very easy and simple to use. It was also very easy to install. I would recommend this to anyone that just wants a simple bluetooth head unit.

This is so much better than any of the cheap Chinese brands. It’s well built as you would expect. Everything functions as it should. It is AWESOME that you can watch the rear view camera (if you add one) any time you want. I have always hated not being able to turn on the rear camera on my factory-installed systems unless in reverse. It really helps when parking in tight/short spots to be able to look behind you while moving forward. Plus all the software is flawless. Bluetooth is easy. CD/DVD is a freebie to me (I don’t use it, but it’s there if it’s needed). I’ve had thousand dollar Pioneer units in the past and this one is not shabby compared to those. Heck, in expensive systems I don’t even use the built in amps (I use external amps). I am using the built-in amp in this one, and it’s very good. The only thing I wish for would be a knob for the volume. This one has up/down buttons which are not nearly as easy to use. Does a knob cost more to manufacture? I bet it is negligible. However, that just reminds me to use my steering wheel controls instead, which is safer. The touch screen is really good. How about large volume up/down on the screen instead of the small buttons, Pioneer? My steering wheel control can attenuate the volume. There’s no matching control on the physical head unit. Why? Nor Mute that I’ve found. Pause would be a good addition (for radio) but I’m sure that’s probably on higher end units. Our 2018 Subaru Forester has pause on the radio broadcast. Never thought of that to be a needed feature, but I do miss it on this unit. Really there’s no reason to not have it with the low cost of RAM these days. This unit lacks input for a forward camera (even cheap Chinese units have it nowadays). This unit includes an external USB input/charger port. It’s okay. My son likes it for iphone control. I don’t bother with my android phone since I’d rather have high-speed charging from a dedicated charger. I don’t think there is screen mirroring or wifi on this thing (cheap Chinese units have questionable versions of these features). If you just need a solid head unit with comprehensive bluetooth (external microphone included), an auxiliary input jack (good to have), and pretty good sound with an equalizer built in (programmable and much better than just treble, mid, and bass), this one is great. No regrets at all, especially after trying some cheaper units, and returning them for various defect reasons.

This is my 5th Pioneer radio that I bought (for different cars), and they constantly improves over the time, I love all the features on it, the sound quality even if I don’t add an amplifier. All the options for the configuration are very intuitive. This is my first two DIN radio and I am amazed by the amount of options it has, As usual very easy to install, never had quality problems. The Bluetooth connectivity is very good, the Phone calls quality is perfect.

The quality on the sound is superb, the installation is easy, the USB extension is not adequate, if you plan to put the USB port as a decorative item that looks like factory accessory on your vehicle then try to buy a third party seller, the one that come with the radio is a extension with no intention to be on the dash board, is just hanging somewhere there, the bluetooth is just for calls, I really can’t understand why, the radio is a high quality sound and please me in all other aspect, the price is little to high for a radio with no MIXTRAX and no media bluetooth. Review 2: This is a excellent radio, before i cant get the bluetooth to play music from the phone, there is a music picture icon on the right bottom side of the screen, if you touch there and select the phone source, the music start streaming from the phone via bluetooth…voila

Amazing what you get at such a great price. I absolutely love the sound staging options of this stereo. It is just amazing. Wiring is a nightmare but that is the fault of the car, not the stereo. Older cars are easier to put stereos into but when you have steering wheel controls, back up cameras, aux. usb inputs and power antennas combined with a parking break bypass, you can have quite a mess and your install gear can cost more than the stereo! Metra has a great sight and the best install gear to get you going.
