These are made of a thick glass and the lids are leak proof. The two sizes are perfect for my use. They are easy to clean and being glass it’s easy to see what’s being stored inside.

After only a few months of typical use, two of these have chipped and the chips are in a whole bunch of tiny shards. And they keep losing more shards so we kept finding glass in food and in our container storage area. Had to get rid of them. Too bad because Pyrex used to be so reliable and their stuff would last years. This lasted months. So disappointing.

I had a bunch of the round Pyrexes for years, which had chipped in various places along the rims. The round ones stack, but don’t nest within the same size – the highest I could stack the round ones was 4-high. The 4-cup round ones were just a bit too deep to fit nicely in the dishwasher rows. Plus, the lids were cracking, or melting, or getting lost, etc. I needed a new set basically.
These (five square containers with lids) are great. They nest, and I can stack all 5 in a single stack. They fit absolutely perfectly in the dishwasher rows. The seals are strong. No complaints. Excellent Pyrexes.
