I’ve had the RabbitGoo harness for a couple of months now, and thought it was time to write a review. This is Finn! I adopted him in March ‘24, as about a one & a half year old. He has a lot of energy, and I started to realize he might just like to go outside. I landed on this harness, after reading other reviews, and reading about the quality of the product. The price point is excellent, I’ve looked at others (not on Amazon) and while I liked some of them very much, they were quite a bit more. Finn is a big boy, and after reading measurements for guidance, I chose the xs (believe it or not) and it is the best size for him. A little tight going over his head, but he doesn’t mind it too much. Note he (and I am sure all cats), can slip out of even a snug fitting harness lightning fast by pulling back on the leash (I’m using an extender leash in pics, it does come with a matching non-extender leash) so be aware of this. You just need to always be behind them walking, don’t walk in front of them and then ask them to come forward, if they back up they will pull right out of the harness. This will happen with any cat harness, as they are all made pretty much the same. Other reviews noted there isn’t much ability to lengthen or tighten any of the straps, and I agree, but for me, the xs works really well, with enough room to make it fit. Hope this review helps you decide, and if you think your cat would enjoy a little safe outdoor time, definitely give this harness a try!

Había buscado por todos lados un arnés tipo pechera que le quedara a mi gato y por fin la encontré. La calidad es excelente y le quedo perfecta la talla considerando que mi gato es grande.
Es muy cómoda y segura.

This harness is especially easy to adjust and the sizing listed is precise, so measure first. My smallest of friends is very used to being in a harness, and this was one of the easiest for me to put on him by myself. I got this harness for him because it is lightweight for the summer while also being no-choke and reasonably difficult to escape. The buckles are really high quality and do a great job at holding their positional adjustments, which is more than I can say for most of the other competing harnesses that we tried.
The key to being difficult to escape is making sure your cat’s shoulder blades and elbows don’t have too much travel within the confines of the harness. My little buddy can’t sit or lay in any position and get his elbow past either rear strap, so he isn’t getting out easily. If you don’t measure and adjust to chest size carefully, then this is just like most clamshell harness designs that can be escaped very easily by stretching out and sliding.
If I had to name a downside to this harness, it’s the reflective strips. They are sleek and do a good job up close, but they don’t stand out well at a distance.

Big boy maine coon fits great. No squirming. Soft and sturdy. Easy to get on and off. Looks like the stitching is good so I’m sure washing will be easy which is super nice.
Lightly padded so it’s not too bulky with padding under all buckle areas so the cats don’t get rubbed on boney places. Thick straps so there’s no harsh lines on the skin.
Leash is long enough for walking safely and has plenty of stitching at the wrist strap and clasp so I dont think they would just pop apart if they bolt. Clasps all seem heavy duty enough for a large cat (i’d trust them to hold a medium dog). Happy I bought this one. Seems to be made/designed by someone who knows how cats can be on a harness. Worth the price imo.

This harness is the best! I have tried other ones and have had issues with security, fit, and comfort, but this one is snug and secure and hasn’t come off either one of our cats (orange cat in the picture looking very handsome is Vinny). I like that the size is fully adjustable and fits well (be sure to check measurements before buying as their sizing is a little strange like the largest size they have is a medium hmmmm) and I like that there are many colors to choose from. It’s really easy to get on and off because there are buckles as well. I had the same problem a lot of people have mentioned where my cat just laid down when I put it on at first, but after starting slow and being patient and using the harness for over a week he is fully used to it and has been having so much fun exploring and walking/sniffing around with me. It’s a great way to bond, get exercise, and provide mental stimulation for my baby. Also he looks really cute in it. Can’t recommend enough especially if you got a fat lazy cat like me and have trouble getting them to exercise lol

While it is made of good quality material, there is a major flaw with the design. It can be slipped off by pulling backwards against it.
The first time I used it, I didn’t properly tighten the straps, which was a dumb mistake on my part. It was ok until a lawnmower scared my cat, and she wound up slipping her whole body through it.
After this, I made sure it was tight enough before embarking on another outdoor adventure with my feline companion. It was nice and snug and appeared to be secure, but this time, someone came out with their dogs, and dogs are a-holes so as you can imagine, the kitty tried to escape again. While it was more difficult for her this time, she did manage to pull back hard enough to slip out.
The problem is that the straps on the neck area are hard to adjust, and it has to be slipped on over the head. If it’s loose enough to put on over the head, it can come off the same way. It would be very difficult to adjust it while on the cat, so you just have to hope nothing spooks your cat.
If there was a clip to secure it around the neck, it would be great.

My smaller cat noodle wiggles into and out of everything, this says escape proof – nope! He wormed his way out of this one too. The neck doesn’t adjust as much as I need it to, my cats neck is quite small and it’s still a bit big. He seems more comfortable in it because it’s thicker and has the air able to go through (versus the single nylon strip harness’) He walks great on it, but don’t buy this for it’s ‘escape proof’ since that’s faulty.
