It was a decent quality product. It was just too small for my cat because he’s fat. The coloring on it was great. It was very bright. The leash was a little thin so if you get this for Kat, I would recommend getting a different leash, but the harness itself was nice.

Very cute my son is 5 months and the medium fit him well he’s a long boy. Safe to say he wasn’t happy wearing it but he was the same with his collar until he got used to it. Nothing a little bit of harness training won’t fix. Tried it on my daughter she is 1+ the medium didn’t fit well probably needs a large. Overall good product, he tried to take it off but couldn’t.
At Our Home We Think –
I got this for my kitten. He’s an indoor cat, but I like to take him outside
from time to time. I don’t want to just let him loose, we live on a country
road, and roads are not for pets….
Hence, the need for a harness and leash.
My review is past tense, because I got this quite some time ago, and my cat
has since outgrown his harness and leash.
It look so pretty on him. He’s an orange tabby, and I got him the dark green one.
Anyway, the harness was a perfect fit. It needs to be, so they can’t wiggle out of it.
It worked perfectly. I was able to step him very easily into it after I sized him up the
first time. After that, it was just step in, snap it up and go. So quick and easy! It was
a very good, strong material. You can easily wipe it down to clean it. I never felt I needed
to wash it, a quick wipe and it was good to go. The leash was perfect as well. Good and
sturdy.
Be sure to measure, so you get a harness that leaves your pet room to grow (if your pet isn’t
grown), but not too much room. Because you can make adjustments, my cat was able to
get a good amount of use from his harness before he outgrew it. We have many, many picture
of him outside, wearing his little hunter green harness.
This is a really good quality harness. I’m glad I got it!

The orange vest on the 10 lb tuxedo is a Medium and the red vest on his 7 lb sister is a small. It took a week of daily bribing with treats and play to get them comfortable with them, but they have zero movement restriction and fit snuggly, but not uncomfortably. They are very easy to slip into – no over the head nonsense. So long as you get both arm holes above the elbows, they are stuck.
Neither of mine has yet actually tried to escape it and I suspect if left unsupervised and really scared the infamous Houdini characteristic of cats would triumph. But for now, the leash anchor distributes the pull evenly across their chests and they feel the limit of their leash but are clearly not in pain or having any breathing interference.
Materials are breathable, durable, well sewn, and yet fairly light weight. The buckle and leash anchor loop are the heaviest part and would definitely put a cat off balance if they were wearing a size too big. But, the measurement chart proved correct for these to and the weight sits squarely between their shoulder-blades.
The hook and loop closure (ie. velcro) does not stick to fur at all and I would be confident in this on a long haired cat. So long as the buckle, which is nice and firm, is very carefully closed so as to make sure no fur gets caught on it, a long haired cat would find this just as comfortable. Avoiding fur catching in the buckle is relatively easy on the medium as there is enough space between the buckle and the two edges of the vest, but the size of the small means an owner of a long haired cat may need to be a bit more careful. I am confident that any fur caught in this buckle would definitely pull.
I found the leashes not quite long enough for two at a time, but with an extra cord through my belt loop and knotted on each leash handle, so long as they explore in roughly similar directions (and do not get me wrapped around a tree), I feel they are close enough for control and free enough to wander. Had I only one, I still might add an extra foot or so, but that all depends on where you are and what you are comfortable with.
The spring clips are solid and sturdy and unlikely to come loose for a good long while yet.
For an adventurous cat and owner, I would strongly recommend this model!

I have an older version of the rabbit goo harness and this one has some additions. The old one just had plastic buckets that snapped into place. This one is designed differently. You have to place the cats paws thru the holes and then it attaches in the back. There is velcro and also a plastic buckle that snaps on top of that. It seems secure. Luckily my kitten isn’t too squirmy because I could see it being very difficult to get an uncooperative cat or kitten into this harness. The nice thing about the design is that once you get the cat into it, you can just use the velcro and not the buckle to let the kitty train in it. If they freak out I think they could pretty easily get themselves out of the velcro whereas once the buckle is fastened I don’t think they could easily escape. I must say the purple color is super spiffy on my mini panther!

Well-made. Has held my cats when they spook. It does have to be on snuggly so they can’t back out. I took a good long time to get them used to it, lots of treats and wearing it in the house. Took some time for them to figure out how to get into small spaces with the clip. Keep the clip webbing snug! In an emergency, I have seen it the harness disconnect. Cats should be able to be calm with it on before attempting outdoor use. My cats grew through the sizes. The XL is slightly too big for my 15.5 pound cat, but the smaller one’s arm diameter was too tight for him. Since he doesn’t challenge it, it works for me. If we were going someplace new I would have it on tightly.

Wow I was so surprised the quality of this halter. I have 2 long haired Maine Coon (they are shaved in the pictures), and because they have so much hair it is hard to find a halter that fits well, comfortable, and escape proof! Not only does it have all the above qualities it is cheaper and better made than all the others I have tried. What a score!
