After about 40 miles of trail with this stem, no squeaks or creaks and no handlebar movement.
I’m 5’10 with arms and legs that are disproportionately longer than my torso length would suggest. So it’s hard to find a good fitting MTB. Large feels a little to…. large and cumbersome. Medium feels better but a little too cramped in the cockpit. This stem instantly added more comfort and control to my Medium MTB (went from stock 50mm to this 70mm.) I don’t feel as off-balance in the twisty stuff, and I don’t feel like I’m dangerously too far out over the handle bars when I’m out of the saddle. I ride mostly singletracks. Climbing is now easier, but bumpy downhill stuff was a little “twitchy” at first but my reflexes are adapting to the change.
