My 3 yr old has been asking for a dirt bike since he learned to ride his bicycle with out training wheels. I am very please with this dirt bike. It was easy to assemble and the quality is what is expected for the price. You definitely need to charge it for the recommended 12 hours before riding it for the first. I allowed my son to ride it with out charging it and he was upset it wasn’t fast enough. LOL. The battery only last a hour and my son loves to ride so I am looking into extra batteries.

After purchasing many items for Kids this was my first razor. upon pulling it out of the box. I already noticed the high quality of the Bike
What a cool little dirt bike. It’s only the little MX125. And I think I write it more than my grandkid. I’m buying two more the three fifty and the five Hundred dirt bikes…. Five star

It says 7 but I have my 5 year old using it. Had I bought it for my 7 year old it would have quickly gotten boring as it is too slow. Overall using it as a trainer before going to a 50 cc honda.

The younger g-kids were having trouble learning to ride a bicycle with training wheels. I purchased the Razor MX125 to see if it would help them ride upright. Our 6yr old learned to put his feet down to help him with his balance. He rode until he drained the battery. I started the recharging process and we took all the kids to a playground for a break. When we returned, he got on the Razor, picked up his feet and started riding with out putting his feet down! He rode until he ran out of battery power. He learned to ride in less than 2 hours.
The speed is perfect for learning to maintain balance and being safe if he lost his balance. The MX125 is the right size, it is well made and runs long enough to allow the skills for riding to improve. The battery is strong enough to last until he got tired. Good battery performance, with reasonable recharging time.

Put it together upon delivery (very simple – took about 5 minutes with all tools needed included). Followed the owners manual and charged it for 12 hours before first use. Got it out today to try with my 45lb and 50lb 6 and 7 year old girls and this bike barely worked. Not sure if we got a bad one, or what, but I could literally crawl on the ground faster than this thing, even if I had no arms or legs. The girls were going so slow that they could barely balance on it, often if would just stop, both on grass, gravel, and actual concrete. It it was able to gather momentum it works slightly better, but still lacked power for this supposed 8mph speed. Note we are well under the suggested weight limit.
I did a quick once over making sure maybe the brake was engaged incorrectly, but the bike would roll smoothly on its own. The bike just lacked power and torque. I wasn’t coming into this with high hopes of a gas dirt bike, but watching a few videos online those seems to work much better. Figured it would be a fun two wheel “powerwheel” experience – not so much. As many of the reviews say, these are pretty small for 7+ age suggestion per the manufacturer, but girls are pretty slim and not hefty boys haha.

My son loves this! I will say it is smaller than I thought, it’s perfect for him, but my son is tall so he will grow out of it quick. But it’s worth it for the price!

Our grandson was so happy with his new motorcycle
We got the training wheels too for it
It was perfect for a first timer 4 year old

It doesn’t go very good on grass or rocks. So if you don’t live near a side walk or a parking lot probably should try getting the bigger one
