I have been using Redken Rewind for the last 10 years. It is my go to. It holds yet doesn’t leave your hair rock hard. Once it is touched your hair is soft and natural looking. there was a concern that the new packaging meant a new formula, but the results are exactly the same.

I normally use the work hard paste. I spike my hair and prefer a natural look VS the shiny crusty Gel look. work hard was out of stock. So I tried this stuff. It pretty much gives you a natural look, but in my opinion doesn’t really give you any hold. if you were looking for something to control your dry split ends or frizzy hair. This might be for you, but if you’re trying to sculpt your hair into a certain shape, You will be unhappy with this stuf.

I found that this product works best in dry hair, although it works in both wet and dry hair. I use it for my boys’ hair, and they have very different hair types. My oldest son has extremely thick hair and the hold is great. My youngest son has thin hair and it works well, although it does fall after a few hours of playing. It doesn’t get crunchy which is great. The container lasts a long time, as a small amount goes a long way. All in all, I think this product is great. Smells great too!
