We finally bought one for the kids, 6 and 8, since renting was $10 each time. This will last them 1-2 years before their head becomes too large. The clip was perfect for their goggles in the back. The vent holes were great to let air out. The ear piece (flip) is a bit tight, it kept folding their ears when putting them on. However it kept their ears warm.

This could be a great helmet with the warm liner and reasonable price, but it just doesn’t fit properly. I had the same issue with the one that I purchased for myself, where my daughter refuses to wear this because it has such an odd fit on her head and becomes uncomfortable. Maybe it would work for someone with a different shape head. We did also try multiple different sizes and couldn’t fit a good match.

It was perfect for my grandson, he tested it out on the toboggan hill.

This is a great transitional helmet for little ones or teens. The measurements are accurate for sizing. It has a good deep bucket with straps more forward than some. This way it will sit where it should for both protection and warmth. Although it does not have an adjustment in the back of head, the stretchy foam skirt around back is very conforming. The ear flaps are also placed so it conforms to contours of face for comfort and fit. The strap system is adjustable if needed and chinstrap remained secure without slippage. It comes in a variety of colors for any kids preference and age. I chose the light blue/aqua to get away from girly pink for my granddaughter. I liked that the earflap material was grey rather than black. The size small was perfect for a 5 and 1/2 yo and looks like she can get a couple years from this size. Her actual cranial measurement was 21”. She could fit a small cap underneath but she didn’t want to and was sufficiently warm at 13 degrees.
We saw exactly same helmets in ski shops for $150.

Very comfy for my 4 yr old to wear all day without complaining. Easy to adjust and clip on. Cute pink color and light weight. Great clip in the back to keep goggles on. Will buy this again in a bigger size when she grows out of the small size.

Bought one of these for each of my kids for skiing and snowboarding last year. We bought one green and one white. They are reasonably priced and look great. They have a matte finish that does not scratch easily. They have lots of pads on the inside for the kids, and I have never heard my kids complain about them being uncomfortable. The only time they take them off on the slopes is to cool down, they say that their heads sometimes get hot, but that is when it is sunny and warmer outside. I would recommend these helmets for anyone looking for their kids or themselves.

It fits my almost 3 year old very well, with little to no movement. She still has room to grow into it and seems to provide well protection.
