When I read some reviews before purchasing, I was concerned about its angle and built quality. However, all my worries were gone as I received the product! It is a rock-solid front headlight mount and is of great quality at this price! It is much better quality than I expected, and I highly recommend it to Brompton owners!

It’s a well machined mount. Had to use my own screw to mount to my fork, but not a big deal. The one thing I’d really like to change is that I would prefer more clearance between this mount and the tire.

Was using it to hold a small light, snapped in half one day randomly while riding, denting my light.

While this is a very solid unit the problem is it’s machined at an angle that makes it impossible to use most lights. And I’ve tried two different styles and it refuses to allow me to aim the lights straight ahead in fact one late would hit the tire because of its release mechanism hitting. I purchased another extender trying to make it work but it just made it too high on the bike.

There’s a significant rise from the mounting hole to the arm extension. This prevented the bracket from fitting on any of my bikes with center-pull cantilever brake calibers.

i purchased this to mount my cateye bike light at the front. after i installed the arm and took my bike out for a quick ride, i found that i had to twist the mounting bolt very tight in order for the light to stay in its position when going over some bumpy road. I suggest to have a notch at the front to stop the mounting part from turning over certain point, if that makes any sense.

Got this to install a light head over my RockShox Paragon fork with a battery pack in my frame pack. Simple to install and puts the light lower to help better define the trail surface; perhaps a little too low as it illuminates my tire and casts a bit of shadow. The metal GoPro slots hold the light securely and my light head doesn’t dip over bumpy terrain – I have it secured with a bolt and a drop of Loktite and I can still adjust the angle, (although it’s a bit of reach to do so). It comes with a nice long mounting bolt so should even be able to use along with fenders.
