My son had always whined about sunglasses and refused to wear them but happily wore these. Most kids’ glasses are basically the plastic crap you might find in a gas station check-out. These are quality – definitely not $200 branded glasses but solid and comfortable.
Andria –
These glasses are perfect, they fit my 9 year old very well. He uses them for bike riding and they’ve been a life saver with the wind and random bugs. It helps that they also have that similar style to PitVipers 🙂 Great purchase
Aircraftengineer –
I got these to protect my eyes playing pickleball. All the adult ones were too big. These fit great. I’m a 5’7 woman with a “normal” head.
Tonia McGrew –
These sunglasses are photochromic, so they adjust the darkness of the lens to the degree of sunlight. You can wear inside or out. Perfect.
DNA Club –
They are great for my small face (I measure about 115-120mm from temple to temple), and they block wind well.
Unfortunately the photochromic capability just isn’t there. I wanted to be able to wear these at night but they are just light tinted sunglasses that go to slightly darker tinted sunglasses.
If you don’t care about that, these might be a great option. They come with a very nice case, and they are light and comfortable.
R&KVars –
Looks like Oakley’s without the expensive price tag, perfect for mountain biking.
R&KVars –
I am a male adult with a small face so gambled on these kids glasses for a good fit. You can see from the picture that they fit me well. I bought these for mountain biking and road cycling and am happy with the coverage.
POSITIVES:
– Lightweight and Comfortable
– Superior packaging, small bag, hard case, and wiper cloth all fantastic
– Dimensions given in description are accurate
– Arm length perfect for fit with helmets
– Shading is just right for mountain biking in the woods/shaded trails.
– Good ventilation and do not fog as long as you’re moving.
– Do not tend to slip or fall off.
– Flexible material so won’t snap.
NEUTRAL:
– Lens’s appearance is Blue. This was not indicated in description or pictures, I prefer a gray or black. Would have purchased a different model if I had known this.
– Grip on arms could be improved to ensure no slipping.
– Lens shading is not strong so not great for bright sunny outdoor activities.
NEGATIVES:
– Photo-chromatic capabilities is worthless. Virtually no difference between a lens that was covered and one that was exposed to direct sunshine.
– Lens causes weird light distortion. When looking at lights there appears to be two of them. Not a big deal for me but you’d expect RockBros to have dealt with this before mass producing them. If you want to use these for driving then beware.
– Not Polarized. The description did not mention these as being polarized, it would just be a nice touch.
