I grew up watching the commercial with the German Shepherd on TV with this intense Ennio Morricone music “Chi Mai”. At some point, a cat showed up in the commercials. Royal Canin is the “go-to” and reliable pet food brand in France. Fast forward decades later, Royal Canin is my cats’s favorite food! They like especially all kinds “Thin slices” in gravy – instinctive, intense beauty, digestive sensitive, hairball, indoor. They cannot go a day without at least one can/pouch. The “Baby and Mommy cat” food and kitten food were also their favorite when younger and are still the favorite of temporary foster kittens.

This packaging is pretty wretched. You have to dig in to it with a spoon, it’s hard to get all the food, it’s just messy, and it’s not easy to save half of it.
All I want is the adult instinctive can with thin slices in gravy. That’s what my cat likes, I like the can. I don’t know why there are 10 slight variations under that name in inconsistent packaging with the better product always being out of stock. Its never easy to just go back to the listing and order again. It’s always replaced or gone.
